Where is the drain hole for this model

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that you are looking for the drain hole on your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FFHT1725PS, due to water building up on the shelves inside your refrigerator. There technically is no drain in your refrigerator. There is a drip pan, which collects water from the condenser underneath your appliance. There are some possibilities that are causing the water to build up on the shelves. First, make sure that all containers are covered. Condensation can evaporate from opened containers and create water on the walls and shelves. Secondly, make sure that the drawers that have your fruits and vegetables are completely closed and set to the correct setting. Fruits and vegetables are full of water. Thirdly, check to make sure that your doors are closing and sealing correctly. Moisture can come through an open door or a door that is not sealed correctly. Lastly, if it is hot and humid, make sure that you are not going in your refrigerator many times and holding the door open as well. Hope this is helpful.

-Best regards-
WP

Fridge is freezing everything

Check the top of the inside of the fridge. There is usually a flap door mechanism that sometimes falls off or sticks. This regulates the temp in the fridge.

Do the door hinges ever wear out

I did my own search for the same problem and saw Dougs question and lack of a solution. I have the same sagging door problem and was looking for a fix.
First, when I removed the weight of the items from inside the door, the door closes properly. This means that the door is not very sturdy and cannot hold the weight of items placed on door shelving. There are NO adjustment mechanisms on the door hinges either. Bad on Amana. The GOOD NEWS is that I fixed the problem.
Take out all items from the door shelves. I removed the top hinge with the door closed to keep it from falling. I took the door off and placed it on the floor. The lower hinge has a plastic pivot over a steel pin - remove that for a moment. Place steel washers over the steel pin - about .080" or so thickness. Replace the plastic pivot. Replace the door. Add the normal weight of items back on the door shelves. The door closes perfectly. At least until the door sags again and I'll need to add another shim.

The freezer shelves in my ge Dss25KGRC side-by-side refrigerator/freezer keep falling down. It seems as though the shelves shrunk and no longer fit. Could it be that the freezer walls have gotten farther...

I had the same problem with my 3 year old GE Adora side by side. Call GE at 1800-386-1215. They were very helpful! They sent me all new shelves and drawers that were obviously wider because they fit perfect(only took a couple days)! Included in the shipment were spacers that I could of put on the ends just in case I needed more width. GE knows about the issue and is dealing with it on a case by case basis.

Freezer shelf issue, roller adjustment, Icemaker problems

There is not a recall per say on this issue but there is what's called a training bulletin.. The cabinet tends to spread out causing the shelves to fall out typically in the middle. Some models have wider shelves that will not fall out but also can not be pulled out due to the recess in the sides of the inside of the cabinet. The other fix is installing a little c clip on the sides of the trouble shelf in hopes that it will stop it from falling out. part # is WB4X174 and I have not had good results with them but it is a cheap fix. 2 per side are needed. Ge would have to be contacted to see if wider shelves are available but they are very expensive!

GE side by side freezer shelves falling down

This appears to be a known problem with at least a couple of GE models (It has been happening in our freezer too). There is a GE Service bulletin at https://customernet.geappliances.com/OTIS/fs/home_images/REF01-10.pdf that seems to describe the fix as them sending out new shelves (and maybe someone to install them?)

Frost in Freezer, front of shelves

Sometimes enough ice will accumulate at the front of the shelves to actually block the door from closing completely. Are you in and out of the freezer often? Moist air that hits the frozen shelf surface will accumulate at the front of the shelves first because that's where it hits first. Check that the freezer is level and plumb not on a "twist". If it is sometimes the door will not seat properly and therefore leave a gap for air to get in. Take a dollar bill and place it in the door seal surface. Close the door and try to slide the bill out from between the door frame and the seal. Do this in several places around the door. If it comes out with little or no friction you may have found your problem. Finally, completely defrost the freezer shelves after removing all the food. Don't poke or dig with an ice pick or screwdriver or you will poke a hole in the tubes and ruin the freezer. You can speed things up with some hot water in a pan placed inside the freezer. Be ready with towels or pans to collect water. Good luck!

Water collecting on the shelves

Sure are a lot of sweaty fridges out there. My wife complains about it too. A mis-fitting door will allow moist air inside. Brute force usually fixes that. I just put my foot against the door bottom and bend the door back to where it belongs. If it has drooped, try just forcing it back up. And don't keep the door open too long when looking for stuff.

Freezer shelves fall

They are made for ease of installation but unfortunately, not stability. Slightly bend the sides outward, making the shelves slightly larger.
