If you can get connected to WiFi but don't have access to internet, try accessing at some hotspot - site wit internet without access code. If still ghet no connection, you might have a problme with the inalambric card of your phone, which of course is part of the phone's circuir board. In this case, you should take your phone to a repair servie to diagnose it.
Sorry. I think you are asking something what is not possible. Your phone does connect to the provider, with a sim card. it has an unique code and you can't copy it. Your provider does need this information, to bill your usage on the phone network. Without a Sim, no connection to the phone network, because no cell tower will connect you. (No service on the phone)
As soon as you want to work on WiFi, you need a WiFi router close to the phone. The maximum distance a WiFi router can be away is about 100 meters in open air. In a house or building it is much less.
To connect to such a wireless router, you need to have permission from the owner. Because he (most of the time) did setup the router with an identification name and a password. All connections you can see under settings and WiFi, are close to you. The ones you see with a little padlock are protected with a password. The ones without a padlock are open.
To access the internet yourself, you should have an internet connection in your house and a wireless router.
So I'm afraid without a sim or without an open WiFi connection to the internet, no soup for you. Pin codes won't work without any connection.
It should connect with an Ethernet cable. Looks like a phone cable but is twice as wide with 8 pins instead of 4. Plug one end into the modem's Ethernet output port and plug the other end into the router's single WAN/Internet input port.
Could you be more specific to the problem that you are experiencing?
Did you plug the hugesnet network side to the WAN port of your bountiful wifi router?
Are you able to get a DHCP IP address from the bountiful wifi router?
Are you able to get a WAN address from hugesnet?
you need to understand two things.
Wifi is a service which requires an access point i.e. a Access point hardware, also known as Wifi Router and A wifi enabled phone.
As you hve mentioned that you have corby- pro, it does have a wifi chip to access the wifi signal.
Now you must get a wifi access point, i.e. a Wifi router, d link has veriety of routers, Now connect the router with broadband internet line and enable it. Configure the router through your desktop.
Now switch on the wifi on the corby pro and establish connection between the wifi router and corby .
Then only you will be able to connect with internet..
you dont have router protected (is not yours anymore).to gain control again, you can rest config. but you need your router manual nerby, to help you config. a previous internet provider config. and so on. to reset router config, you press a reset button on the back, until the lights is off/red. then config the router on the router website( writen on botton with default user and passw.(user: admin passw: admin or password) the wan config, Wlan,...
(Use a wpa2/wep encrption level on Wlan config.)
Note: change all router passw every 30 days, or less if necessary.
