How do I put my Frigidaire front loader into test mode?

Hello Angel BriBri, that's a great question!

I see that you would like to put your Frigidaire washer into test mode and you do not have the available buttons listed on the average test. Could you please provide me with your model number? You can usually locate the model number on the serial tag which can be found on the door frame of your washer. With that information I can look over your manual to see if I can locate the diagnostic mode. I look forward to assisting you. -Matt

Hi i have phaser 8560, it gives me a error 09,038,46:62248, plese who can solve me the problem.

Hi there
The onlty thing I can find close to this is.
Acording to the manual its a ink loader error like your loading the wrong type of ink like the puzzles pieces arent matching and hitting the sensor flags right. Yours by the 8 is referring to the black ink. Anyway go to troubleshooting on the control panel. then to service tools. when in service tools press and hold the up arrow while still pressing the up arrow press the down arrow. the display should say hidden menus. go to diagnostic mode press enter go to funtion menu. then go to clear ISC fault and enter. ISC=ink stick count fault. I hope that helps. Just to let you know Ive had nothing but problems with third party ink and once its in the system its hard to get out so I would watch what im doing with my expensive equipment

That is a black ink stick count failure.
It is not seeing the black ink stick.
See if a stick is broken or not in place. One may be twisted or just jammed.
Outside chance you would need an ink loader because the sensor is not detecting the ink
Check the black sticks see if you can clear it by moving them around or sliding them up and out and reloading.

Testing the Ink Out Sensors Use this procedure to test if an Ink Out Sensor?s flag works correctly.
1. Remove ink sticks from the ink loader?s channels.
2. Place the printer in Diagnostics Mode by:
Service method
a. Turning on the printer and as XEROX appears on the screen, press and hold the Back and Help button until Beginning Service Mode Initialization appears.
b. Scroll to and execute test Monitor: Sensors
Customer method
a. While error code displayed, press UP arrow and OK key.
b. Scroll to Troubleshooting: Service Tools: Enter Diagnostic Mode. (Printer restarts).
c. Select test 82: Monitor Sensors. Press OK.
d. Scroll to 01: Exit Diagnostics and press OK to return to customer mode.
3. Insert the clean eraser end of a pencil thru the lowermost oval slot. (The eraser end of a pencil closely simulates the bottom rail shape of a Xerox ink stick.)
Slide the pencil down the white channel guide until the sensor is tripped. A sensor change is displayed on the control panel. When the flag is depressed, the front panel will read <color> Ink Present H. When released, the reading will change to L. The test will only display a reading when a sensor change occurs. If a flag is stuck, no sensor reading will be displayed on the front panel. If it doesnt change states you need to replace the ink loader

8500 PHASER PRINTER ERROR 9,036.44:19335

· 9,036.44 Magenta Ink Stick Count Fault

One of the magenta (red) sticks is broken or stuck not advancing in the ink loader.
I normally take a screw and twist it into the ink sticks and slide them back and out.
More then likely you will find a broken or jammed stik.
Also be sure it is not a phaser 8400 stick at the shape of them are slightly different and will not actuate the sensor.
Here is also a test procedure for the ink loader.
Use this procedure to test if an Ink Out Sensor?s flag works correctly.

If a flag is stuck, no sensor reading will be displayed on the front panel.
1. If the sensors are not working properly, follow standard service procedures and replace the ink loader assembly.
2. If the ink out sensors work correctly, identify the ink stick(s) being used in the printer.
