Have you try yet to reset the printer?
Please try to restart printer after power off and then replug after closing the doors firmly and reinstalling cartridge.
Also let me know about the operating system and antivirus utilities present on your PC..
Best of Luck & Regards Scott

It may be some spring pulling the paper in to the roller..

Or might be the tray feeder setting problem.. which need manual inspection.. Call a nearby mechanic or contact to Dell Printer support

Ricoh MPC 3503 fails to recognis paper in tray 2. what could be the reason

There is a paper high sensor that might not be working . Try to restart the machine with the paper tray open to reset all tray sensors . If that does not work you are probably going to need a tech to make sure all paper sensor are working .

4200 PRINTER Only wants to print out of tray 1

First you need to verify that tray 2 will print from diagnostics test. Use the arrow keys to scroll down to diagnostics and press arrow key, then use arrows move to paper path test and press arrow again. The default paper path test is tray 2 single copy so just select print paper path test and see what happens. If printer prints from tray 2 then we know tray 2 works and that means you either have a print driver that is forcing printing from tray 1 or your settings on the printer for tray 2 are not correct for what you are printing. Check to make sure the paper size shows correctly and make sure that the switch on the right side of the paper tray towards the back is set for standard and not custom.

How do I have printer switch from empty paper tray 1 to the full 550 paper tray 2

Make sure the paper type and size in both trays are the same. If you are using letter size for both trays, make sure the settings in tray 1 and 2 are the same. If the settings are the same and it still fails to grab from the full tray change the engine settings in diag mode. Hope this helps but if you need more assistance, leave a comment and I'll get back to it. Thanks.

My printer, HP injet 1410, could not pick up the paper. Can you tell me what the problem is.

I assume the printer is making noises and moving, TRYING to pick up the paper...
If so, there are 3 possible issues:

1) you have too liittle paper in the paper tray. Add more paper so that the tray is full to around 3/4, not less.

2) You may have too much paper on the tray. Remove some paper from the tray untill the tray is around 3/4 full, not more

3) The rubber rolls that pick up the paper may be dirty with paper dust or dirt. Put 2 drops of alcohol on q-tip and carefully clean them. Let dry 30 mins. before trying to use the printer.

Keeps saying to load paper and paper is in tray

Open the front panel and make sure that the rollers are secure. You may need to take out the rollers and clean them to make sure that they are getting enough traction. Also, add paper to the paper tray til it is full and push the papers in the tray all the way to the end. Make sure the clamps that keep the paper lined up are lined up properly as well. One last resort is to do a power down and power up. If none of these things work, then you may need a new roller.

Dell 1815 All in One Printer Says No Paper When Paper is Full

Most likely the printer is asking for paper in the Manual Printer Feeder (not the tray). Try put paper in the MPF.

E240 LEXMARK WON'T PULL PAPER FROM TRAY 2

Try pulling out the tray and looking for the feed rollers that pull the paper up into the printer. The 2 rollers should have rubber "shoes" on them (they look like thick black rubber bands). Remove these roller "shoes", turn them inside-out, and put them back on the rollers. This worked for me, maybe it will work for you too.

Print cartridge alignment failed

I took some of the paper out of the paper tray (it was too full) then pulled the cartridge out, wiped off the contact points, reinstalled the cartridge and it worked.

The User Guide mentioned something about colored paper will cause the alignment to fail so that's what gave me the idea to check the paper tray too. I had white paper in the tray but had just refilled it and it was a bit too full. Not sure which of these actions corrected the problem, that's why I mentioned them both.
