Code error (CC3-205-03031F02). I don't know what means that code error. All I know is that the scanner doesn't work anymore. I unplug the cable related to the computer, I restart and try again to scan but the code error still there. I would very appreciate to get an answer as soon as possible because I have some work to achieve. Otherwise, I'll call my technician tomorrow, first in the morning. Thank you for the attention paid to my request. Diane

Error 51 is a paper jam code. Remove the paper tray in the front and the jam clear cover in the back (the light gray plastic piece in the center of the rear of the printer) and pull out any paper you can see.
Once you've removed the paper, the jam code should clear on the display, but if it doesn't, try resetting the machine. If the jam code is still there, that means there is still paper somewhere inside the machine. Check again to make sure you didn't miss any, and also lift the scanner bed to see if you can see any paper under there. (To lift the scanner, lift up with the tabs on either side until the scanner locks into place.)
Please push the menu button, then start mono, then 4x arrow up. Display
should be ||maintenance|| and printer should beep. What error code does
the display show up?
You have to open the scanner as if you were changing the cartridge.
There is a "-----;-" cover which hides the flatcable. Remove this cover
and reinsert the flat cable to the mainboard by simply sticking it into
position. May or may not work, it may have wiggled loose.
Print Unable XX The machine has a mechanical problem. —OR— A foreign objects such as a clip or ripped paper is in the machine.
Open the scanner cover and remove any foreign objects inside the machine. ( You might try cleaning the scanner glass.)
If the error message continues, disconnect the machine from the power for several minutes and then reconnect it.
IssueAn 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel. The printer cannot copy, receive faxes, or print. Solution Press the On button to turn the printer off. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. Remove all the ink cartridges. Wait two minutes. Plug the power cord into the back of the printer. Press the On button to turn the printer on. Install the ink cartridges when prompted. If the error code does not display, the issue is resolved. If the 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel, service the printer.
Open scanner cover as you would do to check for a paper jammed sheet.
Do open the plastic which runs from middle to the right side (looks like a "Z" turned clockwise). Use a small screw diver for that. beneath you will find th flat cable of the scanner. You have to reconnect the flat cable by simply sticking it into position onto the main circuit board. make sure flat cable is in good position and click the" Z "onto the channel. Close cover then power up and do what ever you want to do with your mfc ;-)
