Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Make sure you do not have a bootable CD or DVD in the drive. If that does not resolve, then try holding the "home" (Media Direct) button while pressing the Power button on.

SOURCE: webcam on my laptop dell

Is this a fresh install? Did the camera work before with your Windows 7? On the back of your computer you will see a thin white tag with a Dell Service tag # on it. Go to Dells website and dowload the driver for the webcam. You can get there http://support.dell.com and click on drivers. You will be asked to enter your service tag number and it will give you all the drivers for that machine. Just scroll down until you find the driver you need and download it. When it is downloaded let it RUN and it should take care of its self.

Good Luck

only way to bypass this is use a recovery disk to boot from and then perhaps the issue will manifest itself

otherwise, it's the dreaded re format step

Dell leptop 5030 without heat sudenly shut down

Apparently seems like your laptop is facing heating problem & its because your cooling system including fan inst working properly. You need to check if your fan is running at adequate speed and also there aren't any dust particles stuck in head sink on either side of your laptop. All you need to do is just to use an air blower and clean the fins of your heat sinks to make the air flow properly. Good Luck

It may be that you need to turn off your microphone. You can do that my left clicking on the speaker in the lower right of the display, then the level in the properties. you'll see the different levels of the audio system. Just lower the microphone level.

If this was helpful, Please rate it high. Thanks
