Question about Toshiba TEC B-SX4 Thermal Label Printer

B-sx4t keep paper jam, i was replace the media sensor ,sensor cable and mainboard but still paper jam.Any one experience this?

Paper jam:
- The label is not correctly declared.
- Callibarate the sensors (5 sensor adjust) diagnostics menu
- the silicoe support is too thick.

This error is associated with either a sheet of paper blocking the paper path or a partial piece of paper that blocks path or trips a sensor. The printer will usually throw up a error code 13.XX on the display and the XX is a number that will indicate where in the paper path this error most probably occurred. Just follow the steps for your error on the below chart.

HP Laserjet Error Codes 0 - 19 Message on printer Display Panel What it means. What to do. 13.XX PAPER JAM [LOCATION] Media is jammed at the specified location (and possibly at other locations). If the message persists after all jams have been cleared, a sensor or sensor lever might be stuck or broken. For all jam messages, do the following: 1. Remove jammed print media from the specified location. Check the entire paper path for other pieces of media in the path. 2. Open and close the top cover to clear the message. 3. Check sensors and flags in the paper path for proper operation. 3.0 PAPER JAM [LOCATION] A non-specific paper jam occurred. 1. Remove jammed media from the specified location. 2. Verify the paper tray is fully closed. 3. Inspect and/or replace the feed and separation rollers. 4. Ensure there is no obstruction in the path, such as a torn piece of paper. 5. Open and close the top cover to clear the message. 6. Check sensors and flags for proper operation. 13.1 PAPER JAM OPEN INPUT TRAYS Paper-delay jam at paperfeed area. 1. Replace any defective sensors or flags. 3. Ensure the media does not exceed the maximum length. 4. If multiple sheets are feeding, it might be necessary to fan the media and reduce the stack height. Paper Jam 13.20 on HP 4015


13.20 PAPER JAM CHECK REAR DOOR


Media stopped in the paper path during power on or when the top door was closed.


Action:

1. Open top cover and remove toner cartridge. Remove all media in the paper path, and then re-install toner then open and close the top cover.

2. Open read door and pinch blue latches on fuser and pull it out. Inspect the sensor flag for correct movement and any paper obstructions in the fuser rollers. Re-install fuser and Confirm rear door closure.

3. Remove tray 2 and confirm paper is not jammed in the pickup area. Confirm paper size adjusters in the tray are correctly set for paper being used. (Do not set back paper stop to ANY)

4. Replace any defective sensors or flags

202 paperjam open rear door. My printer did have a paper jam and we removed all the paper we could find, but that message won't go away and it hasn't worked since! HELP!


Hello and Welcome to FixYa

Start by following the steps below to get the paper out from the machine.
  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
  3. Also open the back cover of the printer if this model has one.
  4. Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
  5. If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it away from light/ sun light to avoid damaging it.
  6. If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
  7. If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though. Do this step especially if the jam message comes up repeatedly without any obvious paper jam, there may be a small tear of paper inside.
  8. Ones the printer is free of paper Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
  9. If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
  10. see alternative if the problem is still not solved.



alternative :
Load a piece of thick paper, for example photo paper and press the resume button (may be diffrent button on diffrent models) a few times to the printer picks up the paper and puts it through the machine.



Advanced

If that doesn't help then you would have to start taking apart the machine to find the jammed paper and remove it, its not something a just anyone should do unless you have experience.

you may have to take the machine to a repairer to get the jammed paper bits out of the machine, if you don't see paper jammed in the machine it does not mean that there wouldn't be a paper jam somewhere in the unit along the paper path. Some of the switches or sensors might have gotten stuck.

yes 2 things. 1 bad sensor. 2 bad paper. change paper brand and type. use hammil mill 20# long grain brightness90 and above to test. if this works you need better paper. if not you have a bad jam sensor and need a tech to repair ir.

Printer cartridge keeps jamming


Hi,

The unit may have a paper jam or stuck object inside, if you have experience a paper jam error before, check the printer for any object or paper stuck inside, clean roller.

Some error like this can be a problem on the feeder sensor and by this time you may need to replace and repair the unit.

My lexmark x4650 keeps on getting paper jams and i think its something to do with the roller so any info please help :D

Constant paper jam


Replace all electrolytic capacitors in power supply section on mainboard. caused by poor quality lower voltage caps being used in powersupply. Problem will reoccur every 2 to 3 years if 105oC caps are not used. If mainboard is replaced with new mainboard problem will reoccur within same timeframe. Fix old mainboard using higher voltage and higher temp caps and problem will be gone for good.
