Question about Dryers
That's always next to the thermal control on older dryers called a themo stat or thermo disc, newer dryers it is called a thermistor. The round fuse is located next to it. The idea is the control judges the air temp and shuts down the heating source. If for some reason the control malfunctions or lint blocks air flow the fuse melts and kills the power to the motor.
