Question about Philips 42PF9630A 42 in. Plasma Television
My Philips 42PF9630A 42 In. Plasma suddenly went to a blank screen, and there were some flashing lights in the front led. I unplugged it from the power supply. Now there is no picture and has a steady red light in the front. I do get sound. I took the back off and checked the capacitors and they look ok. Not sure what the problem is. Please help.

Check the power board for capacitors with the tops bulged up. They are 3300uf 10v. There are either 2 or 4 of them depending on your set.

hello, amigo if the all the caps are godd then you have to replace the power supply board. don't try to fix it this is not an easy task. you are looking at almost $200.00 with tax an shipping. just go to google and type your tv model # and ask for the power supply board or just look for the part# on the board itself. good luck

Here is a photo of the board where I have removed the two from my TV. You can see the two open holes.
