I lost my disk and downloaded the driver more then once

Hello. you will have to insert the disk that came with the camera, called a driver. Then you download it and run it so the computer can communicate with the camera. If you do not have this driver go to vivitar.com and down load it. Be sure you select the driver that matches both your camera and your operating system. Joe

Download images to your Computer
Before connecting your ViviCam 3350 to your PC for the first time you must first install the Twain driver first.

After the driver software has been installed, your still images and movie clips can be transferred to your PC using the USB cable. You will know that the ViviCam 3350 is ready to use when two icons appear on your desktop. The “ViviCam 3350” icon is used for downloading still mages to your computer.
The “PCCam” icon is for using the live video feature of the ViviCam 3350.
Connect your camera to your PC using the USB cable. The camera will beep once, indicating the connection is established. The camera installation process will be completed the first time the camera is connected to your PC.

Transfer images to your PC
To transfer images to your PC connect the camera to your PC.
Double click on the desktop camera icon:

Do a search for a free twain software.

This is your setup driver for your Vivicam 55. Vista is not listed. So, if your new computer is running Vista it might not recognize it.

i lost my disc also and i looked and looked on the internet and no solutions, i finnaly found the custumer service number for vivitar at 18005929541 and the sent the driver via email and i was up and running within an hour.
