F2 is a key panel problem. If there is more to the error code it could be something else. Go to Whirlpool.com to get the manuals look lower right corner manuals and... unplug for 30 minutes see if that resets anything. good luck.

Do you have an owners manual on how to replace a membrane switch for a microwave? Item number w10276423

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly,
Owners manuals will not tell you how to remove any components. A Service manual will.
This is not for exact model but similar: See page 2-6 / pdf file page 16
https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/ebfb495a0f38b07985256a8c005ae08d/$FILE/4317216.pdf

Usually you have to remove the cabinet to gain access to the control panel mounting screw.
See page 12 of the manual. There are 2 dcrews AND a locking pin that muct be removed to slide the microwave out of the mounted chassis.
Most KitchenAid Microwaves have a single mounting screw at the top with tabs on the bottom. Remove the top screw and tilt the panel outward and lift up to free it from the cabinet.

Hopefully this will help you get the job done.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

I have a whirlpool built in oven. Model RBD275PDQ8. The display (control panel) went blank 2 months ago. I reset the breaker, nothing. Pushed buttons, it just beeps. 3 days later I pushed the upper oven...

it's the control panel behind that touchpad item. and it's not too difficult, just time consuming. My recommend is to grab a service manual online(usually around 20.00) which will provide good step by step, and also parts list.

spares? well, that's a good question. Until you have that part number, and the best way is to eyeball the one that's in side your unit(no offense to the printers, but mistakes can happen with manuals).

then you'll find out what it's like to be truly handy, eh?

My oven display panel is 'dinging' me with this message: F2 The previous owners of my house didn't leave the manual. Model # is KEDT105VBL0 Serial # is F93105(7 or 1)44

Hello- The code described- F2 - indicates a fault in one of the switches on the control. This model has the switches on the board with the computer, and must be replaced as a unit. The control is pretty easy to install, but costs over 250$. Wish I had some good news for you. -Bet the previous owners didn't.  Let me know if this info explains situation. Only solution is to replace the control.  Thanks- Ed

Kitchenaid electric range yker1201 with f2e0 error

F2-EO indicatwes a shorted key pad. Electronic parts on ranges sometimes have warranty for five years (may only cover parts) so check your owners manual to see what your warranty is then call for service. It is a good idea to save reciepts of repair for future reference if neccessary.

F2 on Amana ARGS7650SS

well the f2 code on an amana is an over overheat fault code. the best thing to do is replace the oven temperature sensor.

it looks like this
http://www.partselect.com/xq/aspx/Inventory.1508183/qx/PartDetail.htm?SourceCode=5&ModelNum=ARGS7650SS

they cost around 40 dollars but that should eliminate your problem
