Problem for Harman Kardon AVR 25 MKII

Ground wire location after a disassembly to remove candlewax

By redlegchevy on Jan 12, 2009

" "
I pulled apart my AVR25II to remove candle wax from a candle that the previous owner had let melt down into the housing and onto the circuit board. On the main board just behind the 2 large capacitors, there is a 2.5 foot long gound wire that has a single plug. I cannot find out where the other end connects. My memory and knowlegde (and schematics) tell me where it goes, but there is no connector. Can anyone pull off the top and send me a snapshot.
Thanks
