Pentax Espio 115 - Error "H0 H1 H2 and H3"

Camera turns on and everything works until I press the picture button. I get the above error message and nothing else works until I take out the battery and reinsert. Then the process starts over with same result. There is a clicking noise like winder wants to work but just will not.

Thanks

SOURCE: Pentax ESPIO738G Error code H1 H2

Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Hope the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance. Also, please be so kind to let me know if you found this helpful.

I have two KXTG 5633 Panasonic base units and 4 KX TGA 560 B expansion hand sets. Of the 4 hand sets only one is working properly; I cannot get a dial tone on the other three. They were all working fine...

On the base unit: Press {SELECT} until the desired extension number (H1, H2, H3, or H4) is displayed on the base unit, then press and hold {CALL} until the CHARGE indicator flashes.Handset:Press {OK}, then wait until the handset beeps. Also check if there is a reset button or an option in the menu of the handset menu that enables you to reset it to factory defaults then follow the above steps.http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTGA560-MULTI.PDF also this could help or this http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG5631.PDF

U7 error code when Pentax Espio 200 camera switched on. What does it mean? Can I rewind and remove film to develop?

Its actually a technician code which means that your Zoom system has malfunctioned. If you want to remove the film then you can simply click the reset button and then remove the film. If you want to get it repaired then it would be better if you throw it and look for a new SLR Camera

I NEED A WIRING DIAGRAM FOR A 120/240/24V ACME CONTROL TRANSFORMER.IT HAS H1,H3,H2 AND H4 ON ONE SIDE(PRIMARY). SIDE 2 HAS X2,F1,F2 AND X2 (SECONDARY). IT CAME WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS AND I NEED TO HOOK IT UP...

If you're wiring up 120 volts to the primary then you need to connect H1 and H3 together, then connect H2 and H4 together. Then connect one side of line (120 volts) to H1 and H3 and connect the other side of line (120 volts) to H2 and H4. Then for the 24 volts secondary X1 is one side of your 24 volts and X2 is the other side of your 24 volts.
For 240 volt primary connect H2 and H3 together, Then connect one side of your Primary (240 volts) to H1 and connect the other side of your primary (240 volts to H4. Then your Secondary 24 volts is still X1 and X2.

Battteries depleted messageon Pentax Espio E40, even though have tried brand new batteries.

HI. this seems to be a battery scanning fault in the programming. try to reset the board by pulling the battery and removing all power of 30 minutes. completely drain all power from this unit for 30 minutes. if this message continues after you have rest the programming, this will confirm a serious fault within the internal program. you will have to send this device back to a pentax repair terminal for reprogramming.

What does HI or H1 mean?

This is a zoom error code - the flexible circuit going to the shutter in the barrel is probably worn out. It'll have to go to a repair shop.
