Question about FIC VC 11 Motherboard
LAN card sometimes works, but often needs driver reinstall... Hardware device wizard will nor recognize anything but "Ethernet Controller" on its own... Reinstalling driver puts LAN card back in use... Recently LAN card does not recognize connection to router, always detecting "cable unplugged"... Wireless card recognized correctly, and driver installed, however not scanning for networks... Is there some firmware fix, or motherboard is scrap?

I think it realtek LAN card. You can download the driver from the following link and try.

Download and install UnknownDeviceIdentifier.(its freeware)
Once installed, run the program to identify exactly what ethernet card you have. Then you can either post back to get the driver or go to the manufacturer's site to get it. Best of luck.
