Call your cable provider and get them to swap your box. The only thing the cable provider can do is re-initialize your box remotely, which will have varied results. Take this opportunity to get a new(er) HD box with no questions asked.

I'm sorry to hear you are having audio issues with your receiver. Do you know what type cable you are using from your TV to the receiver? Unless you are having problems with updating the software for the receiver, it is automatically updated each night at 3 AM. If you have a 722 receiver, the latest software version is L 6.74. You can press your Menu button on the DISH remote twice to bring up the System Info screen. About 5 lines down from the top, it will show the software version. If it is anything other than L 6.74, it needs to be updated.

If the software is current, you can unplug the receiver for 10 seconds and plug back in. After it reboots (takes about 5 minutes), see if you have the same problem. You can also check the cable from the TV to the receiver to make sure it is secure - check both ends. If you have any other problems, please post your request to this site. I hope this helps.

There was an err by clicking the icon it shows the message as errorcode#E0601009

Are you still experiencing the error message on your receiver. If you are, is the message indicating a phone line error? If that is the message you are receiving, you can run a phone line test on your receiver to make sure you are getting dial tone to the receiver.

Press the menu button on the remote. On the main menu, press 6, 3. This takes you to the diagnostics screen. In the upper right hand corner is a button, "Connection". Press select once the button is highlighted. This will initiate a connection test. Once the test is completed, a message will show either "failed" or "passed". If it fails check your phone jack for dial tone and then the phone cord from the phone jack to the receiver box.

I hope this helps. If you need more assistance, please post to this site.

We have a black screen with no audio. We are able to pull up the guide, but we can't watch tv or anything recorded on the DVR. How do we fix it?

No fatal error, try this. If you would, please unplug the receiver from the power outlet for about 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, plug it back in and let me know when it comes on (it will do this by itself). Once it does, it should be showing Message 015, “Acquiring Satellite Signal”.

No longer getting video feed through Home Theatre receiver

HDMI ports 5 and 6 on the back of tv no longer are working. (We had a series of thunder storms so don't know if that is how they got damaged or if it was something else) but moved HDMI input cable to HDMI port 4 on tv and everything is working again. Service call placed for warranty service on tv to repair bad ports.

My Vip622 was down this morning, no power outage,

Unplug the unit from the mains for at least an hour, then plug it back in again and try to boot it up.

Good luck

searching for satellite signal means its not getting a connection between the satellite and the receiver itself. you can check on the back of the receiver where the satellite cables comes in, unplug the satellite cable make sure there is a copper pin sticking striaght up there to make sure its getting a good connection. also if you know where your splitter is, it has a few lines coming in and a few coming out, its somewhere between the dish and the receivers. usually in an attic or basement, or it could be at the dish itself. make sure those lines are tight, no cracks or breaks in the lines. also if your dish is easily accessible check the connections at the dish to make sure none of them have come undone or loose.

Did you have a power outage last night or lightning strike? If not unplug the receiver for approxiamately 30 seconds and plug it back in to the wall plate. Try to turn it on now. If it fails to power up it may indicate that the receptacle is bad or the receiver. Swap the plug from the receiver to the known good outlet the tv plugs into and try to power it up. If it fails the receiver is dead and you will need a new one. 510 are due to be discontinued with Dish so your local provider may not have one to replace yours with and you may be left with the option of upgrading the receiver, seeing if Customer Service can send you one out if you have a warranty program or buying one from a retailer or online.
Hope this helps you.

2 Shows At Once

There is no individual fuse for the SAT input. If you were able to watch 2 channels at once and then, after a storm, (with nothing else changing) you can only watch one channel, then one of the tuners has been damaged and should be replaced by someone with experience.
