I HAVE A PRINT CARTRIDGE ALIGNMENT problem wiht my HP C7820

Try to find the alignment software in your HP printer's Control Center. If alignment does not work, you could un-install the HP printer software and drivers. Disconnect the printer from the computer. Restart without HP software, drivers, and printer. Shutdown. Now reconnect the printer and turn the computer back on. Re-load HP software and drivers. Follow there direction as you go. You'll be asked to align the printer.

Hi

Nice to know that you have enough knowledge to do the basic techniques required.

Anyways Did you try to align the cartridges? first time when the cartridges are installed the printer prints the alignment page which needs to be scanned by the printer, did you perform this set? if not then try to goto tools menu in your printer and try to use the option align cartridges. Only then the cartridges will be aligned and calibrated to print.

My printer is printing the pages on an angle, the text starts out at the top of the page to the right and at the bottom of the page is more over to the left. its like looking at a doorframe that not...

See if the paper gets in perfectly alligned to the printer. It may just be a problem of the allignment. There are two plastic pins/fingers in the paper tray that should be pressed firmly against the paper so that each time the printer rolls in a sheet the paper gets in well aligned.
If the alignment is OK you may need to update your printer drivers. Just google "YOUR PRINTER driver download YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM" eg. "HP laserjet 500 driver download windows xp"

Alignment Issue

Browse through the menu, there must be a head alignment test/function. Also inspect the printer driver and/or utilities installed on your computer and find a head alignment function.
It's not complicated, either it's fully automatic, or you'll have to look at a printout and choose the best-aligned lines, depending on printer model.

I have printer x2500, when the unit is power on, the ink device goes from left to right hitting both end and stay in the extreme right side, and do nothing. There is any alignment procedure??

Hi

Usually the alignment process executes when the ink cartridges are changed or replaced .
There is a way to print the alignment using the printer drivers in the printers and faxes folder.
let me know if you need further assistance

Stuck in a queue for align cartridges.

>Remove cartridges
>turn off machine
>uplug machine and disengage from pc
wait 20 minutes
>do everything in reverse order(put everything back
This is a simple reset. Is the machine now working?

If this is not working, look very carefully inside the printer sockets- are there any bent wires ? any broken? is there dried ink globs anywhere?

If everything looks okay, then we next need to check to see if your printer driver is up to date or has become corrupted in some way.

go to this site
http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html?pageDisplay=drivers

Enter you info and download the appropriate driver for your printer and your operating system.(Make sure you get the correct driver) Be sure to turn off all running programs when you do this including your firewall. Download it and save it to your desktop. It will be an exe. file on your desktop. Before you install it, turn the printer off. Click on the icon to install the new driver. Then turn the printer on and see if all is well. Good luck and if this does not work, let me know. I have had many HP printers.

Good Luck to you!
