Question about Logitech G5

Open Question

Setpoint Implementation resets to OS Implementation

Everytime I set my Logitech Setpoint to "Setpoint Implementation", then clicking apply or ok to close the window, when I open it back up, it resets itself back to OS Implementation.

I need it set to Setpoint Implementation to have my mouse function properly, but it keeps resetting it, and I have no idea why!

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Setpoint, and it didn't work, so the only thing I can think of would be some sort of problem in the registry.

Please help me ;w;

GO TO SETPOINT DIRECTORY. DELETE FILES: LULNCHR.INI & LULNCHR.EXE. FILES ONLY RELATE TO AUTOMATIC UPDATE FOR NEW LOGITECH SOFTWARE. DELETING DOES NOT EFFECT FUNCTIONALITY OF SETPOINT.

SOURCE: Can't reset my cordless Logitech mouse

you should hold the reset button on the receiver for 5 seconds. let it go and immediately press the reset button on the mouse once. If done in this order it should be ok.

Your best course of action would be to use System Restore, based on your response above. Go back to the point where everything worked for you and don't attempt to update your driver again. If it works, don't fix it.

After that if there was something you wanted to accomplish, let us know and we can help you.

SOURCE: Logitech Setpoint Uinstallation issue

Pretty sure you gotta download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and delete any of the settings you might have for khal, could also try to delete everything to do with Setpoint. Finally do a clean install and see what happens.

SOURCE: Logitech Setpoint Uinstallation issue

In my case, the Windows Installer was not launched.
So, I change it can launch automatically by the following step.

program→administer tool→service
And then, start up of the windows Installer makes on.

This is the way I solve the problem.
I hope you can install the Setpoint.

SetPoint messed up my Synaptics touchpad.

Go to Start > Run > type "msconfig" (without quotes) > OK > tab Startup, find entry C:\WINDOWS\KHALMNPR.EXE and untick it. Click OK and reset your computer. After logging on, open Control Panel and restore your mouse settings like you had it before installing SetPoint.

You can also try this:
In SetPoint you can go to the Mouse Game Settings (the chess piece), from there, click "Enabled" for Game detection, then click "OS Implementation" under Speed and Acceleration.

Hope that helps. Kindly rate the solution if it helped.

Cheers!

Accesssing the setup for V320 logitech mouse

Did you only installed the drivers? not the setpoint?

The setpoin is the program who let you setup your mice
You can download it here:
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/428/133&cl=us,en?softwareid=671&osid=1

Under the flap "Select file" select setpoint 32-bit
Download and install, then you can setup your mice as you want

Good luck

Logitech g5 mouse problems

Hey.
If you go into the logitech mouse setup program "Setpoint" there should be a section that tells the mouse what each button will do. It's probably got "Nothing" or something similar selected. See if you can find one that says "Right Click" or something along those lines, and select that, and press OK/Apply to save settings, and see if it changes anything.

Google Earth

I have a LX5 cordless mouse that was part of my S510 desktop set. Prior to this set I had a seperate USB keyboard and generic optical usb mouse. I noticed after installing the SetPoint software that i lost all use of the middle mouse button. Here's how you can restore the use of the middle button. SetPoint reassigns the middle button so that it no longer functions as the default middle button function. This can be changed in the SetPoint configuration. (Look for the icon in your system tray) Click on My Mouse and select the middle button. It's number 3 on my list and was originally titled zoom, but, clicking on a button name will give you a picture of the button location on the picture to the left. Once you locate the middle wheel button, in column next to the list, under select task, select other, then from the drop down list, select middle button. apply and save your settings by clicking ok. pan and tilt will now work properly in google earth.
