Hi, my tp-link wireless adapter, TP-WN821N works for only 30secs before it shuts down. The LED light on the device stays on but it can no longer detect on wireless network.

Checked the drivers and it showed that device is working properly before and after the shutdown. I have installed the appropriate drivers according to my desktop's OS but it still does not work. The adapter works well with my other laptop but somehow i cant get it to work for my desktop. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Connecting a tp link wireless usb adapter to xbox 360

It is not possible to use generic usb wireless adapters with the Xbox or Xbox 360 game console. By 8246b47.jpgJohn Anderson Jun 20, 2012
The post John Anderson is correct that this would not work with a XBOX device. These are intended for and installed on computers (laptop or desktop) with which you would need to install drivers for it on. There is supported drivers that will allow the installation of this device into either a XBOX or PlayStation gaming console.

I bought a TP-LINK TLWN7200ND adapter, but it doesn't detect any 802.11b/g router, even with the latest version fo the driver for Windows XP. How can I fix it? Does only work with TP-LINK 802.11n...

i have used a similar adapter on windows 7 as well as on ubuntu 10.04 (linux), and it detects it upon restart without any external drivers.

try on a system with any of these to confirm that the adapter is good. this could be a hardware fault.

also, try changing the card slot as there could be a problem with the slot.

if it works fine on these, then make sure you are using the correct drivers (the ones exactly for this device and not for another similar device)
