Everything was fine until the washing machine was moved when they were doing some house plumbing. Ever since then, it walks across the room when spinning. The rear legs are on some type of self adjustable bar and can't be raised or lowered. Have moved the machine to several spots, but that has not helped. Would putting wood blocks under the rear legs help?

I have the same issue. Ultimate Care II works great but when it spins it hops across the floor and shakes the entire floor. Sounds like a helicopter. I have leveld the machine on the floor so that it is perfectly level and this still happens. When running empty during spin cycle the tub spins better but still shakes, so it is not an unbalanced load.

I'm not sure what you're washing but try balancing the load in the tub to evenly distribute the weight while it spins. I know sometimes when my wife washes a comforter or shoes they can get on one side of the tub and cause it to spin violently out of control. One other thing to consider is the size of the wash. Don't over load. Good luck.

Hi Geny, I can relate to your problem. Same thing happened to me. The morons who installed my washer didn't give a hoot about making sure it's properly balanced. I learned the hard way and figured it out myself. Balancing is very simple. Make sure the floor isn't slippery. Then check the nuts on the front feet that they're tightened while checking they're both evenly in height. They're adjustable. Third, lift the rear of the machine up about 4" from the floor and lower it so the rear feet can automatically set themselves. Also, a leveler can help. THis should take care of basic balance problems. Good luck!

Phillips Whirlpool Ultimate Care II won't spin very quickly

If this is a top loader it is possible that you have a bad clutch. sometime when your transmission leaks oil it will get into the clutch and this will cause a slower spin and possibly no spin. Tip the washer back just enough so you can see under the washer. Is there a orange/yellow sticky substance under there? If so this is trany fluid.
