Question about Cell Phones

Open Question

My samsung Galaxy i9003 handset shuts down about 5 seconds after the data network (3G) is activated on it. I cant seem to get it back on until about 2-3 minutes because if I try to switch it back on immediately or within 1 minute or so, it shuts down again. Any suggestions ? note that it does not reboot. it just shuts down.I can run the phone connected through the charger though. It does not seem like a battery problem, because without the data network ON, this problem never occurs. I am running gingerbread 2.3.6 firmware.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My samsung mobil GT- i9003 is locked

Thank you for providing all the info! Greatly appreciated!!
Now on to a solution. You can try to do a factory reset. You don't need to log into the phone in order to do one. However, this WILL erase everything on your phone, and revert it back to when it was originally purchased. Not sure if the unlock will remain.

To do a factory reset:
1) Turn off your device
2) press the power button and the volume up button simultaneously until it takes you to a new menu.
3)Use the volume keys to navigate, and the power button to select (Exact directions are provided on the screen)
4) Look for an option to "Wipe/Factory reset" (Note: It might be located in a sub menu, and not actually on the first screen.)
5) Select that option and press the designated "OK" button. (usually the power button).
6) Phone will reboot and you should be able to get back in.

Hope this helps!!

I have samsung galaxy GT-i9003, my cell lost IMEI no. plz give me best solution to recover the IMEI no. without changing motherboard.....

Samsung Galaxy GT i9003: IMEI #:

To retrieve your IMEI #.. Here's several ways of doing it:

(1) The easiest way, on the phone call dial pad enter:
*#06#

(2) If you had cellular service on that device. Call your Service Provider for your IMEI #. They will have this available in their own records.

(3) If the phone was not activated on a cellular service yet, contact the Seller who sold it to you.. Many Sellers write down the IMEI # for their records.

(4) It could be on a label on the original box it came in..

(5) The other way to retrieve the IMEI # of that cell phone is to check your Google Account.. As long as you had set up your Google/Gmail account on your phone.

Here's how to do it:
On a computer internet browser, go to:
http://google.com/settings

Sign-in to your Google account and then select the "Expand All" tab which will list all your devices connected to your Google account and all of their IMEI #'s
