Sounds like you have a bad motor,if you help it to spin and start by spinning the drum and starting it the motor is bad.

Replace the motor? Lubricate Roller Wheels, replace glides so cylinder turns easily.

Pushed dial, dryer would not start. Heating coil on, can feel the heat and hear ticking.

If the heating elemnts are coming on but the drum is not spining then the motor could be bad or the belt could be broken that turns the drum. The motor could also be on a thermal overload in this case unplug the dryer or turn off the circuit breaker for 15 minutes and let everything cool down. After turn the breaker back on or plug it back in and give it a try if you hear the motor running but the drum is not spinning then the belt is probably broken and will have to be replaced.

if your machine is getting stuck in aspin cycle and no longer advancing out on its own, sounds as if you have a dead spot on the timer, reccomend replacing timer

unfortunatly it is either the motor or the drum bearings in the machine. if it is really hard to push i would suggest looking at all the bearings the drum rides on otherwise it is probably the motor that is getting weak.

Turn it on and its not spining

take top off machine and give the drum a push by hand. if it starts and continues to run then the fault is the motor capacitor - cheap part
