I had the same problem with my jensen phas linear, i called the factory and they told me the lens is probably dirty and to try and clean it, well i did, actually cleaned it a couple times then put the movie in and it has worked fine all day today. make sure you get a good brand cleaning disc, not the 99 cent store kind, i bought mine for about $9 didn't even have to put any cleaning solution.

Does your subs play when you are playing a cd?If yes then you need to check the turn on lead for your sub amp and make sure your jensen deck is putting 12 volt out when your dvd is playing. If it is not you need to find the correct amp turn on wire, if it is then you may have to re equilize your sound when you are playing dvds.
no it's not your battery it is in the screen itself , the motorization is broken or damaged . You will need to get that repaired by either taking it to a repair shop in your local area that services jensen products or send it back to the company. If you choose to send it back to the company you will need to contact them first to get a return authorization number . Audiovox/jensen 1-800-645-4994
You have the wrong wire hooked up to turn on your amplifire. You used the blue wire but need to use the Blue/White wire!! That is an amp turn on wire Thje blue one is for a power antenna and goes dead when you put in a disc. The tweeters play because they are hooked direct to your Jensen. You'll be jamming in no time.
It sounds like the phone mute is going on and off, but I'm just guessing because I don't know your grounds, speaker wire hookup configuration, etc. Look at the screen when the music cuts off and goes back on and if you see a little red phone with the cross through speaker symbol (aka mute) it's probably the phone mute feature which is supposed to be hooked up to bluetooth and mute the stereo when you get a call. Like I said I'm just guessing, but if so there's a brown wire in the back that needs to be hooked up.
