Question about Amana AOES3030 Electric Single Oven
I have had what the repair man calls the relay switch replaced due to the same problem. In less than a year the problem resumed. I would like to know how to purchase this switch as well as repair it myself. I can't afford to have a repair man replace this every year.
F1 is for the ERC failure and it will need to be replaced. Here is the part to order.
The part comes with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

F1 Error code for Amana indicates a failed electronic range control (ERC)... that's the main computer behind the keypad. Post back with the exact model number and I'll assist with part number and replacement procedures.

SOURCE: The oven burner will not ignite.
Because the glowbar is glowing does not necessarily make it good.
Turn off the gas to the stove. Remove the oven racks. Remove the bottom oven pan. Remove the flame spreader. This gives you access to the glow bar and gas valve.
Put a clamp on amp meter around one wire of the glowbar. Turn the oven control on to BAKE.
If the glowbar reads 3 amps or less, replace the glowbar ignitor.
If the glowbar reads good, check the burner tube for a white ash buildup. It can be cleaned with a wire brush. Look closely near the glowbar section of the burner.
Check all the wire connections for the gas valve.
If the glowbar is good and the ash deposits are gone and the oven still will not ignite, the next step is to replace the gas safety valve.
