  1. Take a copy from your phone memory then format your phone
  2. Put your memory card on your phone and open it's icon from main menu and press option then format it will be solved
  3. If it doesn't work try another card

SOURCE: MY LG CU550 says Memory Card not ready.

go to your main screen by opening your phone or pressing the end call button. next press 277634#*#. this will take you to the phones test mode. go down to port settings and press okay. next go down to mass storage and press okay, then go to remove mass storage and press okay. it may take some playing around with but it will eventually pick up your card. let me know if this helps.

SOURCE: Lg lp500 cookie mobile wont store automaticaly into memory card

Hi, with the Cookie you have to set your camera and video settings to external memory seperately, even though you have already made external memory your primary storage....its weird! I don't have the phone with me right now to check but open up the camera by clicking the button and while the icons are on the screen tap the one that looks like a cog, this takes you to the settings page for the camera, under one of the tabs here you will see two memory type options. Tap the 'external memory' option and away you go! You need to do the same with the video settings.

SOURCE: Where do you put the memory card for a LG Vu

you slide off the back of the phone. Remove the battery. Then take out the sim card. Right beneath that is where the memory card is supposed to go. You can easily tell if it's in or not because you have to push it down and hear a pop. Hope that helps, I've had mine for three weeks now!:)

hello,
the lg cu720 shine cannot read a 8gb memory card because the size is too large for it to read.

try a smaller size memory card to see if would work.

My lg cu500 says card not ready when I installed my mini sd memory card. There's nothing wrong with the card, because it works in another phone.

the card memory is too large for the phone... an SD card with a lower memory will most likely work....i had a 2gb sd card that will not work in a samsung sgh 500 as it will only take a max of 512 mb...put it in a samsung sgh u900...no probs...or try to format the card whe it is in said phone...if that doesn't work...try a lower memory card.

Lg vu memory card is not showing as installed Just put in a 4 gig memory card but the phone is not recognizing, says the memory card is not ready

Try loading the card with songs. I've read that the VU won't accept SDHC of 4GB, until you load it with a min of 2GB of stuff...songs, movies..etc.

1gig SanDisk micro card is not reconized by LG 500 mobile phone

delete that file off of the memory card and try it again.

If no go then I would try it on her hand set and back up the data to a comptuer using the usb cable on either handset ( which ever the memory card works fine on ) and then wipe the memory card transfer it to your handset and do what you need to do and you should be able to load the data from your handset on to it once its been wiped.

If you want to put the data back on you should be able to use the usb cable - assuming you got a usb cable of some description.

Otherwise if you have bluetooth you could enable bluetooth on both your handsets and transfer the data assuming you have enough storage space on the other handset.

If not let me know how you get on or what problems you come across and I will try and help further.
