I woke up to this problem this morning and was told by delta it could either be the cartridge or the check valves assembly. For me it was the check valves. The plastic developed a small crack. Very simple process to replace the parts.

Some of the new units have stops installed on the valve itself. Make sure they are open.

SOURCE: a single handle delta shower control lets water

Make sure the drip is continuous because the shower head will drip for a few minutes until it empties out. Replace the cartridge or washer kit if it keeps dripping.

SOURCE: I have a Delta 1400 single handle tub/shower valve

You might have to replace the tub spout, because the divirter is not closing all the way. A new one will stop water from getting by it.

Adjust anti-scald delta B114900

Adjusting the anti scald is pretty simple on this device. Attached is a photo of breakdown for this. Basically, unscrew the labeled part to access a very small black rubber gasket. Remove the black gasket to gain access to the anti scald part. You have have to use needle nose pliers to remove the black gasket but it does come off. Once you have this part off, you will see the two parts (with teeth like a wheel) that will adjust the hot water levels. Remove the part on top and turn the little "handle" clockwise towards "3'oclock" to make the water hotter. The part itself will not allow you to go past "3 oclock" for safety reasons. adjust-anti-scald-delta-b114900-ucghvzot5faznyh4jdqs4e5n-4-0.jpg

I installed a single lever shower unit when water is turned on i water out of spout and shower head . i took it a part all washers look good and doubled checked unit was put on right to water lines

You should also have a diverter in the spout. Just turn the old spout off and turn the diverter spout on. You lift the ball on top to use the shower.

We have two showers with Delta single lever faucets. Both have given us problems. Both allow little or NO hot water through the shower head. What can we do?

It sounds like there's a blockage in the valve. It needs to be removed to see if water is blocked and confirm you have hot flowing freely.

Took off shower head water barely comming out but have pressure from fauset

Hello
Is there a water restrictor in the shower head?A small round disc usually white or clear.
This could be clogged.

Next, take a old toothbrush and some comet cleanser and scrub the showerhead holes, this will get any hard water deposits out of the holes.

No hot water pressure on kohler bath / shower faucet

Try draining the system and apply air pressure (min 30psi) to each faucet. Open other hot water faucets to allow pressure to vent. Next try draining and cleaning the hot water tank.

Price Pfister ashfield collection shower single lever.

This sounds like a proper with your water heater. If you just installed this new shower head. First take it off and make sure that the hot water valve is opening fully if that checks out then go to the water heater and make sure the pipes check out ok and also that the heater is ok. Try putting a water heater blanket on it. Also try getting some pipe cover and cover the hot water line so on really cold days or not you will have warmer water

MOEN POSI-TEMP GOES FROM HOT TO COOL AFTER 30 SECONDS OR SO

Wow A Mystery Faucet!!! SOUNDS LIKE THE WATER LINES FEEDING THE FAUCET MAY BE SWITCHED. CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE COLD FEED GOES TO THE COLD SIDE AND THE SAME FOR THE HOT. SOMETIMES MISTAKES ARE MADE WHEN INSTALLING THE FAUCET. MAKE SURE THEY ARE CONNECTED THE SAME AS THE 2 THAT ARE WORKING. IF YOU HAVE THE TIME AND PATIENCE, YOU CAN TAKE A WORKING FAUCET AND INSTALL IT IN PLACE OF THE (mystery faucet) AND SEE IF YOU HAVE THE SAME RESULTS. IF YOU GET HOT WATER IN THE TEMPORARY FAUCET, THEN YOU HAVE A DEFECTIVE FAUCET. THESE ARE A FEW TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS I HOPE THAT MAY HELP YOU.....JOE

Shower head leaks water when water is turned on

take out the cartridge from the fixture and make sure it has all of the "O" rings and stoppers.
look at the instruction again, make sue you are installing it the right side up. if all that, the shower still leak, then you need to talk to the place you brought the fixture, it may have a defective cartridge.
