Question about Zenith Z50PX2D 50 in. Plasma HDTV
Usually a line is a bad connection somewhere---the set does have a board or boards that drive each side of the screen--I would if it is regular enough try to gently probe the plugs and boards with a plastic tool.
It does not take much---a plug not fully seated or not making good connection will cause this---now the bad possible reason:
The connection or problem may be inside the Plasma panel (screen) where heat causes things to expand and then contract-----it cannot be got at there---the cost of replacing the panel is as much and more than the set cost new.
Probing may not be for the average person to attempt--just safely getting the rear cover off entails risks.
