I'm willing to bet your LCD panel is now cracked apart from possible circuit board damage. Your only option is to probably replace the set. Either recycle the set or toss it on Craigslist as a parts unit.

There's only one solution to this and that is to look inside and see what was damaged. It clearly will be physical damage and not some faulty parts. It might be something simple like a broken wire or damged circuit board that might just need soldering. The worse thing will be damage to the the LCD display. But if it looks good from the front you might be OK there. If the LCD has gone then it will be cheaper to buy a new TV. I don't think it will be covered by the maker's gurantee - read the small print!!!
You should call a good TV Tech. This problem cannot be solved by a consumer. The one thing you might try is to unplug it from the wall for a few minutes and then try it again.
Chances are is that the actual screen inside is broke, so that the laser cannot display the correct colors in the right spots. First talk to
a TV repair guy, but he will probably just say to
buy a new tv.
