I have a samsung nv3 that suddenly stopped working, it came on, I turned it off and then about 10 minutes later it did not come on. I assumed it needed more of a charge, however I have since charged it fully and it just remains blank.

sounds like it might need a cleaning. are the buttons hard to push or are any of them giving you a different feeling then the rest?

Even if it doesn't seem like much, that splash of water is probably what is causing your camera to malfunction. Try opening and taking the battery out and letting your camera dry out. Wipe the battery clean and the insides out with a Q-tip and make sure that everything is dry. If it doesn't work after a few days, you can safely assume that something has short-circuited inside your camera and it should be time to call up your warranty.

I had a similar issue with this same model when Samsung sent me a demo version. The LCD screen electronics were bad and had to be replaced. If the camera is under warranty, get Samsung to fix it. If not, you're going to have to decide if it's worth $100 or so dollars to fix a $230 camera or not. Based on your question, you may be willing to live with it for a while, but sooner or later, the entire LCD will go south, and then you'll have to make a decision.

Based on my experience with the NV3, I REALLY liked the coolness factor, but, as my review states, was disappointed with the image quality. And to me, that's the main reason for buying a camera, regardless of how much neon and cool stuff are built into it. Overall, if you have the money, it may be worth considering replacing the camera when you get sick of the LCD situation rather than trying to fix it. Sorry I can't be more optimistic, but feel I need to be honest with you in my opinions. Good luck with this and happy shooting!

Well the soloution for this easy problem is just throw that camera away and go buy another one

I would try taking the battery out and waiting a minute or two and then reinserting the battery. If this doesn't work I would have it looked at by an authorized service technician, or you could bring it to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out for service. if you still have the original disk put it in and u should see and option saying manual it has the entire manual on PDF format

,i dont no about the usb mine automatically charges the NV3 from the USB i got with the camera

This should not happen- Samsung Technical Support straight away. If it is less than a year old return it to the place it came from.
