Revo record storage device not found what is the problem

sounds like a common code from remote..not much you can do but block the infra red receiver on the revo.

If you have a PS3 it means someone has either removed the hard drive or it has gone bad.

It is possible that the USB drive is not formatted to the required specification (FAT/FAT32).

As per the manufacturer -

It is recommended to use USB 2.0 storage devices. If your device is not compatible to USB 2.0 specifications, multimedia functions of the receiver might not work properly.

Uninstalling any device driver is quiet easy on windows. Uninstallation can be done easily by:
i. Right Click on My Computer/Computer Icon
ii. Select Manage
iii. From the left hand side Select Device Manager (you shall see the list of all the devices)
iv. Choose the appropriate device by clicking the + sign next to it. Right click on the name of the device and click UNINSTALL.

if you want to update the driver than Right Click and Update.

how much memory space do you have on your chip if you use up all memory it will delete all to make room for new memory

a program called revo uninstaller does a fine job of getting rid of "bout everything you want rid of. The drivers for the capture device - that is if this is the same grabber you"ve spoke of, and if they are still installed - can be found by going to device manager, right click on the device and choose properties (device manager can be found in xp by going to control panel\system\hardware\device manager; and in windows 7 by control panel\devices). After you click on properties choose the drivers tab and then driver details. The path will be shown where any drivers for that device can be found and manualy deleted.

i think ur its storage device hdd have some problem. the hdd is not detecting. check the connections of hdd for any loose contact. if found faulty replace it.

Hi, from the above explanation which is a general problem to most philips voice tracers, i can tell the that the system is corrupt which means it has to be formatted and if after formatting the problem still persist, then am afraid you have to get a new one.....

check display on the recorder, should say remote storage. check the device manager to make sure it is recognize as usb mass storage device. else reinstall the program and restart the computer

When a computer is powered on, the BIOS ("basic input output system") has only a few commands available to it, and the main one is to search for a "boot device" - a storage device which contains "bootable files". The first device it finds with "boot records" is used to load the operating system.

Usually this is the C drive, but could also be a floppy, USB flash memory, or CD.

In order to get the boot records onto a device, a special option must be used when the device is formatted. This boots the boot records in a place where the BIOS knows to look for them.

So, a bootable file (or "bootable device") is a storage device which has been set up with these boot records.
