Question about Cameras

Open Question

Sony DSC-WX100 I have a flash error E:91:01 on my WX100. I have tried to initilize the camera but the fault remains. I have found a replacement flash board from a working camera but the service manual says I should clear the flash error before installing the new board?

How do I change language from Japanese to English?

sir,
It is very easy to change the language in such models, put the camera in setting menu and it will show the language option, if it has option for English, if it is a dedicated Japanese version you will not get language options in that type.

I have a Sony DSC-T1 and it is displaying a flashing error message E61:10. . The screen is blurry and I can't do anything! It had the CCD chip replaced by Sony free of charge previously - is this the same...

Hi,

In DSCT1 Camera, the E:61:10 error message indicates a Self diagnostic message. This message can be clearly identified by the help of a Sony Authorized service technician. Each of these codes indicates the symptoms and resolutions of the Camera. The E error code indicates the internal hardware malfunction with the Camera. This issue is not related to the CCD Image Sensor replacement.
Try the steps given below to check if the issue can be resolved.

· Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.
Also, try resetting the Camera back to factory default by pressing the RESET button using a sharp-pointed object. The RESET button is located at the lower right side of the control buttons.
Please make sure that the Camera is turned ON before you reset it.

Good Luck!!

The immediate solution is that your flash unit within or the triggger or control circuit to the flsh is fault.
now since thisis within and just opening wont solve issues, it is advice able that you have the camera checked for errors, to estimate for the fault .
This might save time and energy.

Sony DSC P52 won't flash Error Code is E:91:01 tried reset already

When you pressed the reset, if it cleared the time and date that button is working. If that did not clear the error it is a hardware fault, meaning that a circuit has failed and parts will have to be replaced.
A local camera store might be able to find the problem but you will have to carefully weigh whether these older camera is worth the cost of repair.
Sorry! I hate giving bad news.
