Low gas to burner

turn off gas source, check gas line for possible blockage to that 3rd burner, sometimes when we cook food with liquid , such as sauces or soups , then tend to overflow and get into the burners and the gas lines causing a blocked gas line, where the lower half of gas line is filled with liquid,,,

Sounds like you've got grease in the bottom that's catching on fire. Take the grill apart and clean out the bottom of the barrel. You'll probably need a shop vac to clean out the ash, too.

Just bought a new Jenn-Air grill and cant get the temp past 250. Any ideas what i am doing wrong?

First, check that all the gas lines and flame bars are clear of any 'things' or bugs. I had a similar problem with a Webber grill and found out my problem was with the gas bottle. The new Overflow Protection Valve required on LP bottles can closed off or severly slow the flow of gas when the bottle is full and the valve is opened quickly. It will let enough gas flow to light the grill but won't let the fire get high enough to heat the grill up. Turn all the valves off on the grill and gas bottle. Open the gas bottle valve slowly then turn on the grill burner and try lighting it. If the flame is still very low try again or you have to let it burn at the low level until the OPV float drops down and the valve doesn't impede the gas flow. The best way to avoid this in the future is to not fill the gas bottle to the top when you have it refilled. Just ask the LP attendent to not fill it all the way.

I have a Weber E-420. When the lid is closed and it rains, I find the dripping collection pan full of water and overflowing, resulting in a real mess of water and drippings all over the inside of the...

That's not unusual at all. Nor, is it a design flaw. The are are air vents all along the back of the grill head that allows rain to get in. Especially, blowing rain. The best solution is to either bring the grill into the garage when it's not in use OR if you don't have a garage, invest a few $$ in a good quality grill cover. Not some cheap $9.99 special. Either one, will solve the water problem, as well as keep the tree drippings and bird droppings off the grill.

You should be able to remove the base grill by opening both doors to 90 degrees and pushing down while pulling outwards on the base grill to unlock the top clips, once the top is away roll the base grill toward you and up. From there you should be able to see the pan underneath which should slide out.

Clean it thoroughly and use a mixture of baking soda and water for final cleaning rinse and replace, I also mix some baking soda and water and pour in the bottom of the fridge to allow the mixture to cleanse the drip tube leading to the pan.

Installation is in reverse of removal

Take and unplug your electrical cord and then take the bottom grate that covers your motors and components off. The are 4 small screws and then it should drop down. Look to see that there are not any wires hitting your fan motors. You can just reach up there and move them around if they are. Some Treagers seem to have some noise until you use them a little. They have a 3 year warrenty, so if the wires are not hitting the fan blades, I would use it and see what happens.
