Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Hi, I have a Coby2Gb model MPC7095 and exactly the same thing happened. From your video it looks very similar.
The on/off button on mine is on the top right side, and on inspection it is a plastic rocker which operates a switch on the frontupper right corner, when the plastic on.off button fell off I took it apart and drilled a 2mm hole in the front cover 5mm down and 5mm in which now gives access to the on/off button, so I now turn mine on with a paper clip which is bent round the head phone cable.
Looks like you have started to take it apart already, so if under where the on/off button used to be a thing which quietly clicks or pops when you push it, drill that hole!
