    Can't find drivers to allow printing from Mac over Windows network. I get most of the way there, having selected the Gutenprint driver for X73, but it fails at the last hurdle: having spooled, it reports that it is connecting via "port 631" but no actual printing takes place...

I had this problem.When I pushed the button to scan, it said that the application (Adobe Acrobat) could not be retrieved and I could not scan anything.What I did was through the control panel, I uninstalled the printer and then reinstalled the printer.You will have to setup your fax again so be sure you know all the information before you do this.It takes a little while to get it done but this works.You will also have to have the original CD that came with the printer to reinstall.

My husband has a lexmark x7350 printer for his pc. Can I also use it with my Macbook Pro?
Unfortunately, this is one of the times where I have to give a technically correct answer that isn't what you are looking for. The X7350 is not compatible with OS X. The compatibility matrix from Lexmark is here: http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&id=OS8&locale=EN&userlocale=EN_US

You could try to install the x7550 driver, but it may not work or if it does, may have limited functionality. Can i print from my new MacBook Pro to my Lexmark X7350?
This particular printer does not have a Mac driver, you can however print on Windows PC. You can request Lexmark for it maybe they can provide one.
