First check u're mp3 player setting. See t repeat setting put it to play all. If not workin check if u mp3 player got virus or not. N check if u're song inside folder or not. Some mp3 player can't read file that keep inside folder. Good luck.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: music will not play from mp3

I had this problem. Plug your Slick Stick player into your computer, then go to MY Computer, right click and then click on Explore. In the left pane, you should see your audio device under a drive letter like J or E or another. Click on it and it should show "Audio Player". Click on that and you should get a blank screen if your MICIN.DIR is gone. If it is, just right click in a clear section of the page, go down to New and click on Folder. Name the folder MICIN.DIR. NOW, you are ready to add music to your player. Just copy and paste your mp3 songs into the same page where your MICIN.DIR is. DO NOT PUT THESE mp3s into the MICIN.DIR folder, but outside of it. The mp3s CANNOT be in a folder of anykind, they should just be loose where you can see them. The player looks for files, mp3 or wma, NOT folders. To check and see how much space you have on your player just right click on "Audio Player", not audio device. Audio player should be under audio device. When you right click and the drop down menu appears, then go all the way to the bottom and left click on "Properties" A pie chart will pop up showing you the amount of used space and free space. Now, on the Emerson mp3 Stick, which is like the Slick Stick, you have to put your songs INSIDE the MICIN.DIR instead of outside the folder. This is the only way they will play. I don't know why it is different. If this does not help, then write me at: olen79763@yahoo.com. We will figure it out. My name is Olen.

SOURCE: synchronize to continue your music subscription

I ran into the same problem with my Sansa when listening to legally downloaded audio books from the local library. This is what I found:

  • " Are you sure the player is in MTP(plays for sure) mode when you transfer it? You can check by going to settings>usb mode on the player itself. I think it needs to be for you to use library files like that. " (This worked for me)
  • "are you copy and pasting the files? if so you will need to use WMP to sync the files. copy and paste might not be transferring the license." (didn't try this -- didn't need to)
Hope this helps.

HOW DO I LOAD MUSIC ON Vertigo 4GB MP3 Player

for me the adding music is easy. but what I need to know is how long I need to leave it plugged in to charge completely and there is NO where I've found that tells me that. I don't see a red or green light at the bottom like it tells me in some reviews. I got the vertigo mp3 / 4 16 gb at a good price but nothing to tell me what to do to be sure I'd know it is fully charged. Except for the first time charging it up would take about 3 hours. I also dont like how I can't play the music randomly I can only play it as the list. So I hear all the same songs in the same order nd they lump all the artist's songs together even if I don't want them that way

Hi,

Have you gone to the mp3 player in my computer?
windown media player doesnt normaly put them into the music folder it usually just puts them on them front page.
If they are there try putting them into the music folder, and that should work.

Unable to play new songs added to MP3 player

Wal mart downloads are notorious for not working with subscription devices (i.e. - devices that use rhapsody, or yahoo.).

You have 2 options;

 1) dont use any music from wal-mart

 2) burn the music to a cd, the re-rip them to your PC, thusly removing any copy protection and then re-transfer them to your device.

Best of Luck.
