Hi there!
One reason why it will not give you a full yellow bar in the Ink Levels is that the replacement cartridge used was a non HP cartridge. To resolve this issue all you have to do is to purchase an original HP cartridge from HP.
You can call HP's customer service which is 18004746836 and order the cartridges from them or go to HP's website which is hp.com.
HP currently offers Free next business day delivery for their cartridges and paper.
If you are using an HP cartridge and it's still not giving you a full bar on the Ink Levels don't hesitate to contact their customer service and if your printer is within warranty they will surely address your concern immediately.

Were you upgrading the firmware when this happened?
Try it again. If it fails again try a NVRAM reset. Download the firmware and try installing it again. If it still fails, you need to replace the formatter.

Can't scan


please disconnect the power cable from the wall outlay and press and hold the power bottoum for 20-30 sec then restart .
try and make a copy from the printer
again try to print a test page from the printer and see how it prints if it prints fine then it should scan
if it does not print the test page fine then there is a problem with the printer itself

HP Deskjet 722c appears to print but the page is blank. New toner cartridges have been installed


If the clean test page shows streaked or broken colors, the printer or cartridges are not functioning properly. Note that HP cannot guarantee the quality of refilled or remanufactured cartridges. Follow the steps below to solve the problem:
  1. Remove and reseat the cartridges. Try printing again.
  2. Check ink levels, and if a cartridge is low on ink or out of ink, replace it and try printing again.
  3. Clean the cartridges. Depending on what printer you have, you can either print another clean test page or run a cleaning utility. Check your User's Guide for instructions. Try printing again.
  4. Clean the contacts, then try printing again. Click here to see how .

Hp Besiness inkjet 1100 fault codes cayan maginta ink and paper lights come on dead


HP Business Inkjet 1100 stops everytime after the first line stars to print. The power is one, the ink drop light is lit, the "yellow" indicator light also on, and the paper light all on. None of them blinking. We replaced the yellow cartridge with a brand new HP 11 yellow cartridge. Turned the printer off and on to reset. Printer comes on everything looks good till you try to print anything, even a on line word doc? Then it happens again, so we replaced the yellow again...same thing. We ever cleaned print heads, Any assistance would be welcomed?

HP C6150 printer....replaced ink cartridge & still show it needs to be replace.


Try to disconnect the printer, remove ink cartriges, turn printer off, wait a minute, then turn it back on, replace ink and connect to computer again.

As the printer is a little bit older it is likely to warn out its rubber rollers. replacing them will do some help. Also try to reinstall the printer driver. This way you can correct it if the problem is with the driver. Also you can consult to HP support website.

Pale print on PDF files


It sounds like a driver problem. Try replacing the driver for this printer on the printers folder, using the HP LaserJet Series II. With this driver, try again the PDF file and see if it prints correctly.

HP Deskjet 1220C cartridge recognition problem


This happens when the connections on the cartridge get old. Especially when you refill or buy non HP Cartridges, try buying brand new hp cartridges and you might be able to get a couple refill out of them before this happens again.
