Question about EA - Electronic Arts Sims 3 for Windows
Just recently found out that the copy i bought from a car boot sale was illegal what should i do im getting internetg for my computer next week will the police find out and charge me or will i just not be able to download stuff from ea website and still be able to download from other sites or should i just through it out i payed 25 pounds for it
How did you find out that you have an illegal copy?
The police, nor EA, will likely attempt to pursue any action. If it is your conscience that is worrying you, either purchase a legitimate copy of Sims3 or uninstall the game and throw out your disc.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get 2 Free calls (no credit card required) and instant help on almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, appliances, handyman, and even pets).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I Fixed this poblem!!!
I had the exact same problem, up until 3 minutes ago. I deleted my EADM by going to control panel-program and features, then I went to EA download Manager, double clicked it, and uninstalled it form there. After I did this I had to exit all the applications on my computer. Then I went to the Internet and typed in EA Download Manager in my search box and found a link " ea-link.en.softonic.com/ "
(ts all green now, Sorry)
I redownloaded the EA Download Manager (for ignorant people like myself, I saved it to my Desktop, when it finished I then opened it, and I went and did all the steps it wanted me to do, until I got an Adobe Reader tab on top of my EA screen, and it wanted me to install something else. I did, then went back to finish downloading the manager. After I finished, I didn't have the disabled internet thing on my old manager did... I hope this helped, and I am sorry for it being so long.

SOURCE: Sims 2 Expansion Packs Crashing
Did you defrag the HDD after all the installs? if not, you need to do it at least once a month. Did you change the OS? from XP to Vista for example?

There are really no sites for you to download the Sims 3 because you need a serial code in order for the game to work and finish the installation process. So you would have to buy it in order for it to play it. Sorry, and plus that is considered stealing.

You need to call EA to purchase this. You can't use a code twice. You should have a code listed on the back of your playbook, if not, call EA Games
