Little late to get an answer. I have a 600. The answer is there is a flap that hangs down from the left. It stays at a 45 deg angle when down. Just gently push the bucket in and the flap will go up. Gently.

The trick to putting the drawer back correctly is to ensure that the auger pushes into the motor coupling. To achieve this you will have to put the drawer in place and gently push it in while turning the auger inside the drawer by hand. You will know when it has clicked in.

SOURCE: Sub-Zero 632 Ice Maker Leaking into Ice Bucket

Ice Maker is overflowing and leaking into the ice bucket: There are several things to check for.
Go for the easy stuff first, make sure the icemaker is level, some of the plastic liner fridge's will move and allow the icemaker to tilt over and leak. Other troublemakers..... the fill valve
staying on and over filling the icemaker..... the finish sometimes comes off the icemaker body and all the ice cubes don't come out. This will allow the new water to fill on top of an icemaker
that still has a ice cube or two left inside the body, if you have had trouble with black specs in your ice cubes, this may have been the beginning of your finish problem on the icemaker body.
On the module style ice makers (Whirlpool, Maytag Family, Sub Zero) the printed circuit in the
module head often wears and the contacts become too long and allow the icemaker to over fill = new ice maker or new module head.
waterfilladjustment.jpg
Older style icemakers: This gear is bad for breaking and the icemaker quits turning to eject the ice.
You can remove the front cover to see the gear.
This is a common parts breakdown of the older style icemakers

Water fill volume: The water fill adjustment screw will change the fill volumes by changing the fill time.
One half to one full turn usually ( approx ) is equal to 20cc ( 0.68oz ) to 40 cc.
The correct fill is usually 130 to 150 cc ( 4.5 to 5.0 oz ).
When a water valve is replaced the fill volumes must be re-checked!

SOURCE: Sub-Zero freezer 600 series -

Our is doing the same thing, except we do not have ice forming on the back of the freezer. We were told by a refrigeration repair company that if ice is forming on the back of the freezer then the compressor is bad.

SOURCE: Ice keeps forming inside on the back panel of mysubzero model 550

If the ice is on the back panel especially a block of ice in the middle left part of your panel, then you have a sealed system problem. Check to make sure that your condensor coils above the refer are clean, and if it continues to have an ice block then you have to have a technician come out an do a major repair. This is not something you can do yourself, most subzeros have a 6 to 12 year sealed system warrantee that covers either all of the repair or just parts. This is an expensive repair if it is not warranteed, but when the refers cost 8000 to 10000 new it is usually well worth it. Most often it is the result of a slowly leaking evaporator, though most inexperienced technicians replace the compressor first, so make sure you use an experienced Sub-Zero technician. Ice drawer railing, how to install

You'll have to pull both rails and the ice bucket carriage out as a unit, put the 3 parts together as they would sit in the freezer, then put all 3 back in as a unit. The glue probably won't hold, that rail is only about $25 from subzero. You don't even need the right one, almost never see it break for some reason.

Hello! I have a Whirlpool side by side Gold series fridge. About 3 yrs old. The ice crusher and dispenser stopped working. There is a sound when you push the button to dispenser or crush, but nothing else....

Any of the ice crusher models have had trouble. The chips get into the mechnism and then freezes it up. Suggest you defrost the unit manually (NOT WITH WATER) and then try it.

Our subzero freezer has a new problem. The cubes

Ice cubes WILL BE slightly moist when they land in the ice bucket. they've just been slightly melted in order to eject from the ice maker. Stop playing with the settings, for starters. put them back to normal, i.e., middle setting, place thermometer in center of freezer, and if you can, one in center of fresh food. monitor after 24 hours, and for the next three days thereafter. freezer temps should be in the -5 - +5°F, sometimes up to 10°, fresh food should be 35-40, sometimes up to 44°at the normal settings. If you are not having temperature issues, see if you notice any frozen drips of water on the underside of icemaker, indicating a possible crack in the ice maker mold, or a faulty water valve. You didnt include your model and serial number, so not knowing the path of the ice shoot, some go out the freezer door, some slide over and get dispensed from the fresh food side. Its possible you may have a problem instead with the flapping door that opens to allow ice cubes to be dispensed, or similar type mechanism. If this door does not seat completely when its closed, it will leak warm air directly into the ice bucket, which would make them slightly moist, also too, this warm air can cause frost and ice to buildup near the warm air source...look for any unusual forms of ice and or frost leading up from the flapping door to the ice bucket. Also look for any gaps in the door gasket when closed, this warm air leak can also cause similar problems, but its most likely with the ice door. could be the door, the spring, the solenoid, or something else i wouldn't know without personal refrigerator inspection.

Fernando is right! Now I will put it in girl terms. The lip of the drawer (lip is at back of the drawer) rests on a white plastic thing. But when you take the drawer out completely, the white plastic thing retracts and just looks like the back of the fridge. So when you go to put the drawer back in, you see nothing to put the lip on. So pull the white plastic thing (it looks like a white plastic rectangle about the size of an envelope) forward and then hook the lip onto it and gently pull the white "augur" (the thing that senses when it's time to make ice) down and slide the drawer back in. My son figured this out from reading Fernando's solution. What a relief! Our model is a 561.

Frididaire Gallery series side by side with ice and water in the door

First pull out the ice bucket and close the door.  Set for cubed ice.  Press the button for ice to come out and listen for a loud clunk noise.  That is the sound of the solenoid.  You can open the door, hold the light switch and press the button and watch for the solenoid moving up and down.  Solenoid is at the back of the freezer in a little square opening where the rod on the ice bucket goes into.  If that solenoid is moving ok then put the bucket back in while the solenoid is in the down position and cubes should work.  If solenoid is not working then it will need to be replaced.  Let me know what you find.
