SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: My remote control suddenly stopped working. I

First I would unplug the set for 20 minutes. If that takes care of the problem, i would say the eprom had corrupted data. This in most cases will return. The other two things that can be at fault are the IR receiver in the set or the Micro Processor. In the event the later is the issue then I would take it in and get an estimate for the repair first.

SOURCE: When I turned the tv

Get your owner's manual and look in the section on setup. This will guide you on how to set this up. Sounds as if after the setting are made, they are not being saved, somehow. Let me know how you make out, and I will continue on assisting if you like. Thanks, will need the model & serial numbers.

SOURCE: My child was playing with

Hello
As we don't know the sequence of presses that the child has done with remote buttons, just make an unlock function to its V-Chip first. You have to give an other code after unlock, and must remember that four digit code. So write it back on a piece of paper the four digit code you are going to give to the TV, so that you may not miss it later. To unlock Apex TVs do the following.
Apex TVs have parental locks that allow you to block certain programs based on
their rating. When this feature is no longer needed and you want your TV to display all programming no matter its rating, you must unlock your TV. Unlocking your Apex TV is done completely from your remote control and does not require any tools. The process takes less than 5 minutes.
ยท Press the "Menu" button on the remote control and use the arrow buttons to scroll down to the "Parental Guide" option, then press the "Enter" button.
Type in the default parental code "6688" if you have not set your own code. If you have set your own code, type it in. If you set your own code and forgot it, override it by using "6688."
Use the arrow keys to switch the parental lock to "OFF." This allows all programs to be viewed no matter the rating. Press the "Exit" button on the remote and start watching all your channels.
After this process and set with an other code lock, just autotune the TV.
OK.

  • Turn off the printer. Turn on the printer.
  • As soon as you see XEROX start moving across the display hold down the back and help buttons until you see "beginning service mode" on the display.
  • Release the buttons, it will now come up in the service mode.
  • Scroll down to the function menu, hit ok, scroll to clear isc fault, hit ok. Hit the back button to get back to the first menu then exit diagnostics, hit ok when it asks if you want to restart in customer mode.

I hit the wrong button from the start I'm in a wrong country.

You are going to have to back to the beginning and do the new user procedure again, if that won't work or the system refuses to allow you then you will have to find the procedure to reset the device back to factory defaults and then begin the procedure agai.

Note this is from memory this procedure, and at my age sometimes the memory gets a little confused.

Hope this helps

What am i doing wrong i have picture soundduring promotional parts at beginning of dvd ...music but know sound/voices

moz-screenshot.pngmoz-screenshot-1.pngmoz-screenshot-2.pngYou need to change the surround sound settings. This is on page 29-30 in the instruction manual that comes with the sysyem. You can download a copy in pdf format here: http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/95/LVT1147-001C.pdf

Basically do this:

1. Play the dvd.
2. Select Audio mode on the remote control
3. Hit the "Surround" button repeatedly until you hear all the sounds you expect to hear.
Go slow inbetween hitting the button to make sure the sound is playing.

I need to program ge universal remote jc024 for sanyo tv

I also lost the manual for my GE JC024 Universal Remote. I remembered though that you just hold in the button for the device you want to program and the "SETUP" button at the same time for about 5 seconds until the red light on the remote flashes and stays lit. then let go of the buttons. Then you basically just press and let go of the on/off button, pausing for a second or two in between presses until your device turns off. then you have to press the "ENTER" button and it'll store the code for that device. This method just cycles thru all of the possible codes for that device. sometimes you get the wrong code and the remote wont completely work. like hitting the volume button makes the tv mute for example. just repeat the steps until the device turns off again and eventually you should be able to get it. hope this helps.

I can not remove closed captioning on all my channels. i use time warner cable remote control. i dont know how captioning came about. pls help. thanks

As best I can tell, the TWC remote requires about 12 steps to turn CC on & off - very annoying and I can't understand why it's not simpler. Hit the blue menu button near the top; scroll down or up to Settings, hit enter, scroll down or up to Captioning, hit enter, scroll to how you want CC (off, on, or just when Mute), hit enter, then hit Exit to clear the screen. A pain, no?

Turn off the cable box and hit the menu button on the universal remote. The screen with the closed caption selection appears. Scroll down to the line regarding subtitles and turn it off.

On the reomte control (bottom) left of the sleep button is a cc button, push that until "OFF" appears on the screen. The close caption box should disappear. It worked for me, finally.
