Question about Samsung Galaxy GT-S5570
My phone wont connect to wifi, it keeps trying to but connects then disconnects straight away, tried reset to factory settings, tried the live battery pull, tried the code everyone says to type in but that makes it worse by saying im out of range, its not a router issue either as i have a laptop and an iphone which all connect fine, can someone please help with this issue
Versions of Android that I use Will not connect to an AD HOC Network. My suggestion is to download and install Virtual Router Manger v0.9 Beta on your PC, TRUST ME, you will not regret it. Got my Samsung Mini Galaxy connected within minutes after installation.
On a side/bonus note: on your phone, download and install "AirDroid". Once installed and started, go to your PC and open an internet browser OTHER THAN Internet Explorer. i.e. Firefox... from there, connect to the address listed in AirDroid and you can manage/copy files/update contacts/create messages ALL through a web browser on your PC and it will send it to your phone, WIRELESS... GENIUS!!

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

What worked for me was to go into SETTINGS then NETWORK SETTINGS select CONNECTIONS then click your routers name then scroll down to NETWORK KEY type in your password and then SAVE then try connecting! hope it helps!

check your wifi settings by turning on your wifi, instead of selecting wpa or wpe, select infrastructure and select none for password. try also dragging your wifi home network to your phone wifi icon. and check.

I think u would not had installed the drivers software properly. Uninstall the drivers for ur phone in ur laptop . then without connecting the phone to the laptop install the drivers . now restart and connect the phone to ur laptop . go to add hardware option and add the phone. now it'll ask for the location of software. select the option as cd. it'll ask for the port no. and all other details.. give them correctly ... select ur phone from the list and install it. now ur phone is ready to work with ur lap top
