The date on this watch is shown by the hand on the dial with Sunday written on it. If you read the date dial starting from the top on Sunday there are 6 lines on the face indicating the other 6 days of the week. Therefore your watch is currently showing it is Friday. The "SUN" always shows because it is not like a normal watch. It is the hand on the dial that shows the day.

To change the hand on the day dial you must wind the main knob (LHS) clockwise to move it. To advance it 1 day you must wind the clock around the face twice ie 24hrs and the day pointer will move forward one day. Do this till you get the pointer onto the correct day.
Hope this helps!

All of those nice pushpins!!! THe trouble with them is that the oil and sweat of your skin gets into the spaces around each pin and clogs the action. Try getting a can of CRC or WD40 spray and using the thin tube that comes with each can, spray a little on each pin one by one, exercisine each as youdo it. That should free up the action and make the functions work!

I just bought a police kickers timepieces watch i dont know how to set the day i've tried hundreds of time but its not working can some one help me !!

Since you have stated ABSOLUTELY nothing about provinance... model, year... owners manual POLICE being a pretty decent watch from the UK (I'm going to skip right on past the AUTHENTIC notion... Chronograph (shown).

If your your watch is a REGULAR knock-off (replicant)... t has the miyota movement...

A highly precise and reliable motor
in it's own right.
(sets very much like the high end valjoux cousins)

It is a crown-set... typically a three position stem set.

Force nothing... !!

Some GENTLY unscrew the crown... others will pull out
to set: 1, TIMW 2, DATE... THREE (back to normal -closed).
.
In the closed position

The stop/start butons do precisely that on those SUB-DIALS.

In the SET positions the start/reset buttons are used to ZERO those sub-dials (press & hold... then individual clicks will move each hand to zero).

Hope this helps!

I have the correct time and date but the day shows Sunday and it should show Saturday. I need to understand the setting sequence.

The day changes at midnight but if your watch thinks it is displaying 11a.m. when it is in fact 11p.m., then it won't change over until noon the next day.

Solution; wind your watch forward 12 hours (tedious, I know). You will then need to reset the watch to the correct day.

Changing the DAY on this analog watch.

Turning it backwards didn't work on my watch. I ended up winding the time ahead several days worth to show the right day of the week (being careful to turn it to the correct 9 o'clock of the day, for me is was the first for morning.) Then I could go ahead and change the date using the first click postition of the stem.

I see that light bulb going off and you whispering "why, of course!"
