SOURCE: my toshiba laptop c655d-s5130 web

Hi. The best thing that you can for this kind of problem is Re-install the driver for the webcam .. IF you have the disk that came with the computer that would be the best option to do now. If Re-installation of driver did not work. You can Re-install your operating system . If same issue contact HP if your still in warranty I am sure they will replace it. Thank you and God Bless

SOURCE: I have a Toshiba Satellite

Go to Microsoft Support and get a fix.

If you forget your Windows password or if your password expires, you must reset your password before you can log on to your computer.
You can reset your password, if one of the following condition is true:

  • You can log on as an administrator to assign a new password to your account. To do this, try Method 1.

Note When we install Windows, it automatically creates an account "Administrator" and sets its password to blank.
  • You have previously created a password reset disk for the computer. To do this, try Method 2.
If you do not have a reset disk or cannot log on as an administrator, unfortunately, you may have to reinstall Windows XP and all other programs that were installed on the computer before you can use the computer again. This is for security. Without these safeguards, anyone could reset a password to anyone else's computer and gain access to private information.

SOURCE: Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5130 will not come on. Light flashes on front of laptop for a few seconds then stops

The problem is most likely in the DC jack in the laptop, shows a variety of symptoms because of bad solder joints. The computer will need to be dismantled down to the motherboard level to address this.

I have a toshiba c655d but I the screen is too dark, when I connect an external monitor it works just fine. Any ideas?

Hi boris jurado...

Sounds like your LCD is faulty, if it works with another external monitor, then that is normally the problem.
You will need to change your LCD to correct this problem.
