Question about Hotpoint Refrigerators
My mothers old fridge freezer has stopped working its been in the garage for the past 17 years. she has ordered a new hotpoint rfa52s to replace it, but i have been told that new fridge freezers will not work in this environment as it drops below 10 c . do you know if this is the case, there is no room for it in the house regards john.
Very interesting because i put my RFA52 out side in an out house last summer and in this current cold snap it has stopped freezing. So will it come back on once the temprature rises or is it broken down completely?

This is from the hotpoint web site.
If the room temperature drops below 14°C for an
extended period of time, the ideal temperature will not
be reached in the freezer compartment and food
preservation will be reduced.
You can read the manual here if it will help you.
