A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

its a tweak with epson.... they have a counter there that intentionally stops it from working even through your printer is still in good condition.
there is an available driver that could correct that depending on the operating system you are using. i think if i maybe correct it only works with and o/s that is winxp.
the drivers name is inkpad reset utilty.
try to check the website www.epson.com/ipr for the inkpad reset utility

Take the printer to a qualified technician, who can "service" the ink-pads (by replacing them) and by resetting the printer to indicate that "new" ink-pads have been installed.

SOURCE: HI! This is the printer's
so officially the ink pads are full and need to be changed. However try to find them available to get to change them and you will find that it will be impossible. Crazy for such a simple fix but they just don't sell them. so the above link will tell you about possibilities, and you can get the waste in k reset on epson's web site by putting in the serial number of your unit. The first thing you need to do it clear the printers problem and that can be solved easily. the second is that you can put in new pads if you can find them. here is how on a different model.

If the WASTE INK PAD is clogged then the printer will reset and will not work unless the ink pad cloggging is removed and replace.
Please check with your dealer as it requires some skill to remove and reset the INK PAD.
