I have an error code on my american standard model # ACONT900AC43UA communicating, programmable comfort control. Says to find the Error codes from American Standard Pub 18-HD32D2-8 but I don't have...

I am experiencing the same error code on my American Standard AC and according to Public. #18-HD32D2-8, error code 126 is in the Equipment Change Alert Group and the description says "Equipment does not match value stored at startup." Then, in a footnote, it says "A device has changed since Auto Discovery (See Installer Guide *S& 0706 to reset)."

This is all Greek to me so I'm calling my AC guy. I can tell you this, however. I bought an American Standard AC brand new just two years ago and one year ago exactly, it blew up. American Standard replaced it. Now, one year later, more problems.

I question the quality of American Standard and would not be inclined to buy this brand again.

The drip pan for my HVAC American Standard Unit is full with 6 gallons of water? What is happening?

The drain is clogged...look for the 3/4" plastic pipe coming from under the evaporator coil and then blow that out...usually it is the trap that cloggs...the best way is to shoot a shot of air through it with compressed air...

NEW American Standard shower installed... leaks from shower head.

They do not all leak. The problem may be that your faucet is simply wearing out and is due to be replaced in total. Try putting some plumbers grease on the cartridge and the chamber.....not too much..........that may do the trick for u.

American Standard Sink Drain

I would recommend getting and installing a better quality basket strainer that has a thicker "lip". Also, you need a good amount of plumbers putty underneath the lip of the basket strainer as well. Try not to use silicone to seal under it, it doesn't stand up to use. I would purchase a solid brass strainer rather than the thin stainless ones. They are more expensive, but are worth the money.

I need a manual of instructions for instalation of this product .

You will need plumbers putty and a plumber's drain tool. Put a ring of putty around the piece that will be on the inside of the tub to seal it. Then insert it through the hole making sure the rubber gasket is on the bottom side of the tub and tighten it down.

I need the installations for a American Standard

I had a similar problem where the Drain-Kit that I ordered was missing a part. After contacting American Standard and requesting a schematic. I realized that the missing part was the rocker assembly with stopper. I have a PDF of the schematic that I can send you if you still need it. Let me know. The alternative is to contact American Standard directly between 8am and 6pm Eastern and request the information. The phone number is (800) 442-1902 Option 3 then 1 then 2. Tell the person that you need the installation instructions for a universal bath drain.
