Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Mobil email updates won't turn off

I logged on to my email once on my razr v3xx and now everytime i get an email i get a msg saying "new email do you want to log on to mobil email?". How do I turn that off??

    I just got the phone and have looked around it. I don't see any kind of "setting" like that. If you know about the razr v3xx can you tell me step by step where to find it. that's what i need. thanks!

    thx! don't know why i didn't think of that sooner, but had to log into my mail account on phone. i'm sure i was charged for that :(

    then I scrolled til i found "delete account". thx

What you need to do is log into your settings, go to wherever your mobile email settings are and change them. It's a relatively simple thing to fix if you do it correctly. I believe it says on there somewhere to "turn off email notifications"

    It sounds like your forwarding is still enabled at the source (where
    the email is set up). Even though you can set up emails from the
    handset they still have to originate from somewhere. So to fix this
    problem you should log into the email account where the email was
    tagged to, i.e. myemail@yahoo.com and then go into the settings and and
    disable the forwarding settings.



    If you set it up an email through the carrier website (i.e.
    myemail@t-mobile.com, cingular, etc.) then log into the account manager
    and find the email option under your account log in and then disable
    the notification affiliated with that email address.



    One of those should definitely correct the problem. But if it does not, you can set your profile to silent, but you still get a notification. Or you can contact your carrier and they can walk you through it.

I haven't had to do this with Facebook in a while, but you might want to double check a couple of things. 1st) make sure that if they are giving you a replacement password that you log in with that password and before you log out you go to your Facebook profile an update your profile with a new password of your chooing: following, of course, any rules Facebook has about the length and make-up of a new password. In other words if they require that your new password has to have more than 8 characters but less than 16 and must have at least at least one alpha, one numeric, and one capital that you create a new password matching those requirements. If they give you a password to log in with, it is just a temporary password and is only intended to be used once to allow you the opportunity to create a new password. Once you log in with the temporary password it expires and if you don't create a new one while you are logged in, you won't be able to log back in with out going through the entire process again. 2nd) Make sure that when you create a new password that you do not have the capslock key engaged. This can lead to all sorts of confusion as you are essentially reversing all your upper and lower case letters if the capslock key is on. I hope this helps. Good luck.

have the firmware of the phone reflash but into the phone and this will correct the issues.....take the phone to a mobile center and have it done there.

Usually that only happens if the phone was just turned on, so the camera takes time to warm up. Try restarting your phone and try again. Hope this helps =)
