Question about Siemens SpeedStream Modem (4100) (SS4100)
HI, It is absolutely not necessary to keep a dsl modem plugged in if you are not using your internet. It is good to plug out the power adapter when not using it to have a longer life. I have one at home and when I leave it on for a couple of days plugged in, I would have to unplug it for a few minutes and then plug it back in or I wouldn't be able to connect to internet.
