Question about Baby Lock BL1556

Open Question

Model b15 on a Denim Pro II how do I put in a bobbin?

The machine seems to be missing the part in which the plastic bobbin is inserted and I can't find a manual or the part. Any suggestions?

GC 500/550 not pulling bobbin thread. My wife has used the machine several times without issue, the last time she broke a needle sewing some denim, we found most of the needle but could not find it all,...

some sewing machines can not sew denim good,
here are some suggestions
since a needle was broken & replaced--if the needle has a flat side it goes to the back of the machine
make sure the needle is inserted correctly & pushed up inside of the needle holder & the needle screw tightened correctly
is the correct needle being used for the thread & fabric being sewed?
when sewing denim, a denim needle is needed, I usually purchase mine at walmart, I have 2 necchi sewing machines & the denim needles work just fine on my machines.

if none of the above suggestions help then the machine could be out of time, just because of a broken needle. only a repair shop has the correct tool to fix this problem

What bobbins fit the singer featherweight 117

The Featherweight II 117 uses the Class 15 bobbin. A 4-pack of the Dritz equivalent of the bobbin is available from Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Dritz-Plastic-Class-15-Bobbins/dp/B000Y3D1NG . Singer has a 10-pack of the bobbins here: http://www.singerco.com/accessories/detail/2075/class-15-bobbins-10-pack . You can buy a manual from Singer, as well. (See their Instruction Manual page from the Customer Support Link then enter 117 in the Search box.)

I hope this helps.

Needle does not pick up thread from bobbin

Is your needle inserted with the flat side facing the rear of your machine? Are you holding your top thread as you rotate your handwheel toward you to lower the needle? Is your bobbin threaded right, check your manual. It is usually something very simple when this happens.

Where can I get bobbin replacements for my Euro Pro EP 380 Denim Sewlution machine? It only came with one. Online somewhere?

You should be able to pick up bobbins to fit the machine at any fabric store. Just take the one you have with you - make sure it still has thread on it, so it isn't taken for store stock.

If you are looking for a bobbin case, then contact the manufacturer's parts department. The number is listed in the back pages of the machine manual. You can also call in at your local sewing machine repair shop - establish a relationship with the repair person. It will serve you well in the future. Good luck!

Need to replace a bobbin cover plate

Hi,

Here in Australia, the dealer would get it in for you. The 'manufacturer' / distributor usually don't get involved with customers! I'd find a dealer near you and ask!

Good luck!
