Can i make my olympus sp-81souz as a webcam

It is not possible to use the Olympus SP-810UZ as a webcam directly, as it does not have a built-in webcam function.
However, there are a few ways to use your camera as a webcam with the help of third-party software. Here are a few options:
  1. Use webcam software: You can use software like ManyCam, SparkoCam, or WebcamMax to turn your camera into a webcam. This software allows you to use your camera as a webcam by connecting it to your computer via a USB cable.
  2. Use a video capture card: You can purchase a video capture card that will allow you to connect your camera to your computer and use it as a webcam. You can find these cards online or at electronics stores.
  3. Use an HDMI capture card: Some cameras include an HDMI output, you can use an HDMI capture card to connect your camera to your computer and use it as a webcam.
It's important to note that, the quality of the image and the resolution may not be as good as a dedicated webcam, also the software may not work with some camera models. It's recommended to check the software compatibility before purchasing any of the above options.

Hi, i 've Olympus CAMEDIA 470 Zoom digital camera. i want to use it as webcam. let me know if it can be used and how? will it really damage zoom or not/

If your has an A/V-out port and a cable that lets you output to a TV, you should be fine. If your computer already has a video input-many do, particularly ones marketed as media PCs-then you're all set: You can just plug the camera into your computer and turn on the camera.
If your computer doesn't have a video input, you can buy an inexpensive USB capture device for $5 to $10 on eBay, or a brand new EasyCap Video Capture Adapter for $15. The same device can let you watch TV on your computer, too, since the encoding hardware is the same-look for a TV-tuner-plus-video-capture USB adapter for $30 to $50 instead. You'll need to install the driver that comes with the device, but not the video-editing software. Simply run your favorite IM client; with the capture device's driver installed; the IM client should find your camera and let you use it as your webcam for video conferences.

I hooked up my Canon PowerShot to a desktop PC using a $15 video-capture dongle and simply ran iChat, selecting the video device as my input. I was videoconferencing within minutes.
With some cameras the audio will be sent along with the video. If that's not the case with yours, set your computer's audio input to its microphone.

How can i use the coolpix L11 as a web cam?

You can't. The L11 is designed as a camera, storing pictures and videos onto a memory card (or internal memory). It is not designed to feed live pictures and videos to a computer.

Using sony dcr-sr36 as a webcam

Unfortunately is not possible directly - Your cam do not support USB streaming... But You may use any cheap video capture device like Pinnacle Studio movie box or similar to connect Your camera via S-video cable because Your camera has an analog output. Only one requirement - the capture card must have an S-video input or simply RCA video input. It's easy - connect video out and audio out of Your cam to the capture device and then connect USB of capture device to Your computer.
Good luck!

Using GL2 as a webcam

Using the firewire/IEEE cord attach the camera to your computer.  If you are using a Mac it should instantly recognize the external camera when you open iSight or what ever utility you are using to communicate.  If you are using a Windows based computer open MS Moviemaker and it will recognize the camera as well by selecting capture -- once the camera is recognized you should be able to broadcast with it.  If you are using uStream.com sometimes your video capture interferes with the ability to broadcast.  In that case hook up the camera using firewire, connect to uStream -- grant uStream permission to capture using the camera then you can see the video in your browser window.

Can I connect my VHS-C or S-VHS-C camera to my computer?

Since VHSC camcorders feature only analog outputs: it is not possible to connect the camcorder directly to a PC (unless a computer video card is equipped with analog inputs). The only way to transfer images from the camcorder to a PC will be using an external device capable of analog/digital signal conversion. JVC has released a capture device model, GV-CB3U which has the capability of video capture of a single frame in either Bitmap or JPEG format. The GV-CB3 can be connected to any video source through a standard video or S-Video connector and download single image to a PC using serial port (RS232C communication port). The JLIP Video Capture software necessary to transfer images to the computer as well as connecting cables are supplied with this product. You can also use 3rd party hardware (Video Capturing device) to send information from your camera to a PC. Visit your local PC or Office store for more information on other video capturing devices.
