Help!

i bought a van and the player is installed under my seat i cant get it out to see where to plug the cable in to. where does the cable that goes to the little control thing that is mounted on my dash plug in to? it is a pin end cable. from the front of the player would it plug in on the left right underneath--i felt around under the seat and i cant find where it might plub in--lol srry stupid question--but i need to know thanks crystal
