Question about iRiver iFP-795 MP3 Player
My daughter has an iriver IFP 795 MP3 player, we have the disc that we used with Windows XP, however it is not compatable on her new computer that runs VISTA. I have searched for an updated driver with no luck. I emailed iRiver and still a wait an answer. Any ideas? Thanks
Solution is given here and it works: I just did it for my beloved IFP-795...

The solution is posted on the Iriver site. Go to the ultra-portable section and find your player model. Download the Iriver manager software. BEFORE you install the download, right click the file, go to Properties, and choose the compatibility option for XP SP2. Then install the program and connect the player. It will work with the Iriver manager. I just did it. The computer does not see the device as mass storage, however the Iriver manager will let you add and organize your files on the player.
